  2. Postpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 2-1 Man City

What a different 45 minutes this has been to the first.

Manchester City now look a bit leggy with Arsenal on top and the crowd well behind them.

If it stays like this, Arsenal leapfrog City in the table and move to second, level on points with Gareth Taylor's side but with a superior goal difference.

Around 10 minutes plus added time for City to salvage something.

  3. Postpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

There's an early stoppage in the second half as the referee blows her whistle while Eveliina Summanen is down clutching her head.

    What a strike!

What conviction, nothing else in Katie McCabe's mind there.

Coming in on her left, she just hits it. Ellie Roebuck managed to get a hand on that, but the pace and the power on it took it into the net.

The game has turned right on it's head.

    Arsenal 2-1 Man City

This game has sparked into life, it's not over.

Laia Aleixandri in the middle of the penalty area chests it down and goes for a goal. It's a really good clean strike and a decent save from Sabrina D'Angelo.

  7. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 2-1 Man Citypublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Katie McCabe (73 mins)

    What a strike!

Arsenal take a short corner and it comes out to Katie McCabe who just leans back and lets rip with an absolute rocket into the back of the net.

I think Ellie Roebuck actually got a bit of something to that but the pace and the power on it was just too much for her.

What a comeback from the Gunners.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:05 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 1-1 Man City

Lovely ball from Katie McCabe, on a plate for Frida Maanum.

She lashes a shot off and it's a superb fingertip save from Manchester City keeper Ellie Roebuck.

Manchester City Women should be out of sight already. Arsenal doing very little, only their keeper has kept them in it. City, in this form, could win WSL.

Jodie [Taylor] is full of running.

She is 36 now, but is still a willing runner, bags of energy and keeps herself in good condition. She will be a handful, can run the line and the channel.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 1-1 Man City

Arsenal are now going to make those changes.

Jodie Taylor, Jen Beattie and Kathrine Kuhl are all coming on for Victoria Pelova, Stina Blackstenius, and Noelle Maritz.

Lovely shot from Chloe Kelly with the outside of her boot on the right-hand side.

Inches wide but Sabrina D'Angelo might have got to it anyway.

Before that goal Jonas Eidevall was getting ready to make some changes but seems to have stalled on doing that.

His side are currently in the ascendency so he won't want to disrupt that right now.

  15. 'Can't give Maanum chances like that'published at 13:56 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 1-1 Man City

    Hope Powell
Former England and Brighton manager on BBC Two

It opens up for Frida Maanum and she just hits it. Small gap, she went for it, and she has equalised.

Arsenal are back in this game now, and that will give them both confidence and energy.

City might be disappointed with that, that they didn't clear the ball. You can't give Maanum half chances like that because she will take them.

  17. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-1 Man Citypublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Frida Maanum (61 mins)

Well this certainly makes things interesting.

Stina Blackstenius picks the ball up in the penalty area and tries to find Katie McCabe, Steph Houghton gets a toe on it but it's not enough.

It's bobbling around in the box but eventually comes to Frida Maanum who does really well to get it out of her feet and tuck it away.

    Game on!

  18. 'City are starting to take control again'published at 13:52 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 0-1 Man City

    Hope Powell
Former England and Brighton manager on BBC Two

Arsenal have to come and get the ball from Man City.

They are leading and look like they are starting to take control again in this game.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Everton 1-1 Tottenham

The whistle is blown and the first half ends level on Merseyside.

Izzy Christiansen drills a ball over the bar and the final chance goes begging.

Nicoline Sorensen has been Everton's brightest spark and troubled the Spurs defence since scoring the opener. Tottenham have worked their way back into it but haven't produced much.

  20. Postpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 2 April 2023

    Arsenal 0-1 Man City

It's definitely been a bit more of an even contest this half as the sun tries to creep out on what has been a relatively dismal day in London.
