    That's all for tonight folks.

It's disappointment for Northern Ireland as Michael O'Neill's Windsor Park homecoming ends in defeat.

You can read Mark Sterling's report from Windsor Park here, and keep an eye out on the BBC Sport website for more reaction as the night goes on.

    Night, all!

  2. Disappointed with the resultpublished at 22:02 British Summer Time 26 March 2023

    FT: Northern Ireland 0-1 Finland

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill: "I'm disappointed with the result but there was a lot of positives in the performance. It was a poor goal to us to lose, it was scrappy goal. I thought we had to try and come back and our attitude to the game was very good. I thought the goal that was disallowed was marginal, to say the least, but we had chances at the end of the day and we didn't take them."

You have to take your chances and we had two really good chances in a game where there were few chances and unfortunately we paid the price.

The young players were outstanding - they give us hope. But are we expecting too much too soon? It is a cycle, we have to develop a squad as we don't have that pool of players other teams have. If we can get that quality player up front, it can make it a lot easier.

  5. I don't know if we were a bit luckypublished at 21:59 British Summer Time 26 March 2023

    FT: Northern Ireland 0-1 Finland

Finland manager Markku Kanerva: "I'm really pleased with the three points. It was a tight game as expected, especially in the second half. Northern Ireland put a lot of pressure on our defenders but we managed to keep the clean sheet. I don't know if we were a little bit lucky but I am very proud of my players' work ethic."

We had this conversation earlier but is it beneficial for Shea Charles' to remain with Manchester City's first team or go out in loan?

The quality in the box was so bad, from players you would expect to do more.

We just didn't get enough quality into the box. We were unfortunate with Dion Charles' goal being ruled off for handball. It's the right call, but it just seems harsh.

We're crying out for a player like Pukki, who can lead the line and score goals. We just don't have that quality in the team at the minute.
