What a moment too for this woman. Ann-Katrin Berger revealed at the start of the season that her thyroid cancer had returned and here she is, saving the crucial penalty to send her side to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

    Lucy Ward
    Former Leeds striker on DAZN

I can't believe what we have just witnessed.

It was tight the whole way through. It needed somebody to make a mistake and unfortunately for Lindsey Horan it was her.

Stamford Bridge is in absolute raptures.

It was an incredible effort from everyone involved. Chelsea have had their injuries, the players were out on their feet by the end of extra-time.

The momentum ebbed and flowed throughout the two-legged tie.

Lindsey Horan is inconsolable but her team will come again.

    A fantastic effort from Chelsea.

Emma Hayes has often referred to her side as "mentality monsters" and tonight they proved just why they are.

Special shout out to Maren Mjelde who took the spot-kick in the dying seconds of the game to take it to penalties and was the first to step up in the shoot-out. That is some focus.

At 115 minutes I thought it was absolute curtains for Chelsea.

They looked tired and like they'd already accepted their fate but fair play to Lauren James who took the opportunity when it came and won her side a penalty.

    Football, eh.

I’ve never witnessed anything so bizarre at the end of a game.

Well done to Lauren James. She became non-existent but when you have a player of that quality, if you get her the ball she can make something happen.

    Aaaand breathe.

Incredible scenes at Stamford Bridge as Ann-Katrin Berger takes the plaudits and Emma Hayes hammers her chest to the crowd. The Chelsea players are in absolute raptures, they can't believe they've knocked out the holders. And in such dramatic fashion.

Lindsey Horan is understandably inconsolable as her Lyon team-mates console her.
