We’ve hardly mentioned Lauren James’ name in these last 30 minutes.

She’s been ineffective. Tired legs. Head’s gone, legs gone.

It’s difficult because she’s a young player but she needs to stay involved. She’s not had much impact in this last period of the game.

Lyon have just had the edge in the extra time period and I think their substitutions have made the difference.

Millie Bright, Fran Kirby and Pernille Harder are all big misses for Chelsea and mean their bench is looking a little thin.

Ellie Carpenter is down and in need of some treatment.

Jessie Fleming is on for Erin Cuthbert in the aftermath of that goal.

Chelsea have less than 10 minutes to get something from this game.

You worry for Chelsea with the onslaught of attacks from Lyon.

Ellie Carpenter makes a good run down the right-hand side and tries to cut in and whip one in but it hits Magdalena Eriksson's arm.

Thankfully for Chelsea it was just outside the box so it'll be a free-kick for the visitors.

Kadeisha Buchanan hoofs one forward to Sam Kerr who can't quite get it under control but Lauren James is there to pick up the pieces.

James is forced out towards the corner flag and Vanessa Gilles eventually pokes it out for a throw-in.

There's a bite to this game, that's for sure! I don't think either team want a penalty shootout.

Lyon's creative midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan could cause a few problems in these final 15 minutes.

Just 15 minutes for one of these two sides to prevent the game going to penalties and book their spot in the semi-final.

Danielle van de Donk and Selma Bacha are coming off for Dzsenifer Marozsan and Pearl Morroni.

Lyon also swapped Delphine Cascarino for Melvine Malard earlier.

After a very intense 90 minutes it's a tough ask for these two to take on extra time and you could tell there were some tired legs out there.

Emma Hayes is giving a very passionate team talk in the huddle, it looks like she wants her side to go for it rather than settle for penalties.

We are now just 15 minutes away from penalties after a frantic opening period.

Two minutes added on to the first half of extra time.

Rytting Kaneryd charges down the right-hand side, she tries to squeeze it through a couple of defenders to Sophie Ingle who was creeping up.

Not many bodies forward for Chelsea, though. It's all feeling a bit stop-start.

The crowd feels edgy and there's a rumbling of muttering. The players have given everything but the intensity, inevitably in extra-time, has dropped off a little.

Hmm. Kadeisha Buchanan still looks to be in a bit of discomfort. That is not what Chelsea fans will want to see with limited options on the bench.

It was a pretty hefty challenge from Danielle van de Donk, I thought.

Chelsea have had a very good game.

Chelsea and Lyon legs are tired. This is where the mind starts to go and you can make mistakes.

Keep doing the basics well.

Ouch. Coming together between Kadeisha Buchanan and Danielle van de Donk and Buchanan let out a pretty big scream as she hit the deck. That was obviously a sore one.

She needs a bit of treatment but looks OK to carry on. Much to the relief of Emma Hayes and the Chelsea fans.

At times she has been a bit shaken in the WSL, but she seems to thrive in these Champions League games.
