Caroline Weir has looked a bit subdued in recent internationals, but the Real Madrid midfielder has risen to the occasion after being handed the captaincy - setting up two goals and now scoring the third with a sublime finish.

Claire Emslie squares the ball to Caroline Weir, who has bursted right out of midfield and into the box. Her dancing feet leaves the Costa Rica defence bamboozled, and she shimmies past multiple bodies before caressing the ball under the goalkeeper.
That's why she plays for Real Madrid, folks.

It's a sparse crowd, occupying just one side of Hampden, with the game being played in conditions not conducive to venturing out on a wet April evening.
But that stunning start has the crowd abuzz with anticipation of more to come. Costa Rica, though, have shown, as they did in Poland on Thursday, that they can be a threat on the break against a home defence that is looking uncertain in the damp conditions.

I used to think perhaps passing my driving test while still being 17 was pretty cool, or as my mum would say, just showing off.
I reckon scoring five minutes or so into your Hampden debut in your second cap for your country is definitely showing off.
I hope Emma Watson laps this up, though. A simply sensational achievement.
