It will be interesting to see how Arsenal react following that Williamson injury.

The only 'positive' for Jonas Eidevall and his side is that they've had plenty of experience dealing with such things this season.

Leah Williamson is done for tonight at least. The good news is that she is able to get up and walk off the pitch - cheered by fans of both sides - and Gio Queiroz replaces her.

With the World Cup fast approaching, Williamson and England will hope that the injury is not a bad one.

This does not look good for Arsenal. They've been plagued by injuries all season and Leah Williamson has just gone down.

The England skipper is punching the ground instantly and the medical staff are out quickly to check on her.

We can only hope it is not as bad as it looks.

Brighton are playing some lovely stuff at Broadfield Stadium. They do not look like a side battling against relegation so far.

A promising Arsenal move comes to nothing in the end. It looked like Maanum would get a shot on goal but she opted to pass and eventually Ona Batlle snuffs it out.

Losing a player like Kim Little, especially given the stage they are at in the Champions League and coming to the business end of the season, it is difficult.

But it is a chance now for other players to step up. You've seen it already this season [at Arsenal], with Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema being out, the likes of Frida Maanum has stepped up and taken responsibility.

It's a chance for someone else to come in to the side and lead the way.

United on the front foot again and the ball is laid back for Katie Zelem, she's tackled before she can get a shot away.

The ball comes to Alessia Russo but her shot goes harmlessly past the post.

Brighton are pressing for a second with back-to-back corners from the right.

The second leads to a scramble but Everton eventually get the ball clear.

A little more Arsenal pressure but United show the threat they pose on the break.

Nikita Parris drives forward and tries to slide the ball through to Ella Toone. Just too much on it on this occasion, though.

An energetic start from both sides with a few tackles flying in.

When play settles it is Arsenal pushing forward but Frida Maanum's cross from the right is just about dealt with by the home side.

As the sun slowly sets on a lovely day in Leigh, those fans on one side of the ground, and those in the media seats, are having to shield their eyes from the sun to see the action.

Will that cause some problems early on for some of the players?

The teams are out in the north west. Only a couple of minutes away from kick-off there. It promises to be some game!

A sloppy pass ends a spell of Everton possession and Brighton break quickly through Katie Robinson.

The winger gets to the edge of the box but runs out of options and her shot is blocked by Rikke Sevecke.

After Katie Robinson's snap shot drifts just wide, Brighton catch Everton in possession in their own half again.

Nothing comes of it this time but the visitors need to be careful.

Manchester United manager Marc Skinner is in bullish mood before this evening's match.

Writing in the matchday programme, he says: "Jonas Eidevall and his side come here in excellent form - they are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, in contention for the Women's Super League title and already with the Continental Tyres League Cup in their trophy cabinet.

"We have no fear, though. We know Arsenal's strengths and where they can hurt us, but we're confident in our abilities to defend against that and we have belief in ourselves; belief we can control the game, belief we can be consistent in our approach and belief we can show aggression throughout.

"One thing I loved about our game against Arsenal at the Emirates in November [which United won 3-2] was we played without fear.

"We played with attitude and personality. Even when they scored their second goal, we dominated the ball, made them run, made them work. Ultimately, it paid off. That's what I want to see from us again tonight. If we play like that, we can beat any team in this league."
