Wrexham striker Paul Mullin, speaking to BT Sport after the game: "It's been phenomenal at times. We have had a long time here and the fans deserve this day and this group stick together and we have done all season.
"All the shenanigans to come play at Wrexham and to come from 1-0 down tonight is unbelievable."

It's been a titanic tussle. Notts County deserve so much praise and I don't think there is a fan here who would begrudge Notts County winning the play-offs.
They were relentless.
It's taken 110 points, 115 goals, to win this title.

The fans are finally leaving the field but we will have to wait a little longer for the trophy presentation. Mind you, they’ve waited 15 years for this moment so what’s a few minutes more?

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over Wrexham in 2021.
They had secret meetings with fans who were part of the club's supporters' trust.
In the first season under Hollywood ownership they just missed out on the play-offs. In the second campaign they were beaten in those post-season games.
This time Wrexham have done it with a record points total. It's not bad for a club who were saved by money generated by fans back in 2011.

Wrexham have definitely got the capability and potential to make it to the Championship.
League Two and League One are well within their capability.
Then you are in a whole different world of finance and competition in the Championship.

Wrexham deserve to be back in the league after the season they have had.
It's been phenomenal. Commiserations to Notts County, who have pushed them all the way.
But congratulations to Phil Parkinson, the architect, and Paul Mullin, who will undoubtedly be player of the year. You can go through the players.
The fans have been brilliant - they have played their part. It's been a great season and a great story.

There's an invasion of the pitch but it's a joyous invasion.
They are scenes of ecstasy. After 15 years of pain and heartache and flirting with oblivion, this team are making their own history and it's sprinkled with Hollywood stardust.

Paul: Well done Wrexham. See plenty of fans of plenty of clubs who moan about owners that don’t care. Reynolds and McElhenney are rich sure but they also clearly care about that club and the community they’ve become a part of and they and that club deserve success.
