That's just about it from us after another enthralling day of WSL action!

It ends with Chelsea putting down a marker in the title race by hitting seven past Everton.

You can read Mantej Mann's report on that here.

That cuts the gap to Manchester United to four points and the Blues have the chance to take it down to one when they take on Leicester on Wednesday.

Arsenal are also in action as they travel to Brighton knowing a win will keep the pressure on the top two. We'll be back for those two - join us then!

More from Chelsea manager Emma Hayes speaking to Sky Sports: "We keep players on the pitch, keep them fresh. that's a lot of work from people in the background.

"It's about peaking and good form in the right moments in the season. We have been chasing all season and we know we have to be on our game. This was the sort of performance and goals we needed to help us kick on.

"We have a cup final next week, everyone wants to play. You see Pernille Harder coming back. We've missed a lot of goals this season without her and Fran Kirby. Jessie Fleming is playing well, Erin Cuthbert got on the scoresheet as well. We were much fresher tonight than midweek and I think the performance reflected it."

  3. 'A pretty good performance'published at 20:58 British Summer Time 7 May 2023

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Emma Hayes speaking to Sky Sports: "I thought we struggled to get hold of the game, we didn't put pressure on the ball so we had to adjust that.

"We were really clinical, we scored three goals from four shots which was efficient but the performance in the first 20 minutes, not acceptable.

"When you have to make adaptations, that is organised for the most part in advance and maybe during the game. Everton played how we had prepared for them to do but we didn't execute as well as we could have done.

"We did improve upon that for that reason and we were happier going in at half-time. Other than that, a pretty good performance."

Emma Hayes must be delighted with that Chelsea performance, right?

Wrong! She's just told Sky Sports that the first 20 minutes from her side was "unacceptable."

High standards, indeed! We'll have full quotes from that interview shortly.

Chelsea may not have been able to keep up their 100% conversion rate from shots on target in the second half.

But with seven goals despite an xG of only 2.05, it shows they were still extremely clinical in front of goal.

Such an impressive performance from Chelsea today. Everton will be really gutted to be on the end of a 7-0 defeat.

Chelsea just absolutely dominated and a wonderful victory for them. A great one to have going into an FA Cup final.

I thought Harder was excellent when she came on. As a 7-0 win with Sam Kerr going off injured, Chelsea just oozed quality today and showed real class. I wouldn't have expected this with Chelsea recently winning games by the skin of their teeth, not really dominating games.

We saw a different side to Chelsea today, we saw them back to their best.

Everton left themselves exposed a bit y going full out attack. As soon as Chelsea got that one goal, they just gained confidence and momentum and went on from there showing a ruthless performance today.

'Blue is the colour' rings around Kingsmeadow as Emma Hayes gets her Chelsea players into a huddle on the pitch.

They were fantastic today, had the game wrapped up by half-time and were able to rest players in the second half while still adding to the scoreline.

They will take some stopping in this title race.

Lovely strike from Erin Cuthbert just in the dying minutes of the game, giving the fans one more goal.

She strides past the defence and picks her spot right into the corner. Just to round off the day with the seventh goal of the game.

    Unbelievable here from Chelsea.

    One more for luck...

Erin Cuthbert robs Clare Wheeler of possession inside the Everton defensive third, carries the ball forward before sending a low strike past Courtney Brosnan from 18 yards out.

That goal difference is looking a whole lot healthier now!

Chelsea always find a way to win the league. I think they will put everything on the line to make it happen after missing out on the Champions League.

Performances like today show how ruthless Chelsea can be. They have won the league on so many occasions, we are just used to it.

At the moment I think the title is Chelsea's to lose. It is in their hands and they have games in hand. It would be disappointing for them not to go on and win it now.

Into the final minute of the 90 and both teams seem happy enough to let this peter out...

Scrap that! Chelsea break down the right through Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.

Lauren James is up with her but Kaneryd takes the shot on herself and is unfortunate to she the ball come back off the far post!

    Samantha Miller

Harder is a world-class player, there is no doubt about it. I'm sure there will be plenty of teams after her in the summer.

There is a reason she is Denmark's all-time top goal scorer. She gets herself in those positions, she's got a powerful shot and knows exactly when to pull the trigger.

It's great timing to be back for Chelsea and she will gain a lot from this game coming back and playing like this so quickly.

If the chance comes to add another, they'll take it but they aren't pushing for it with the same intensity we saw earlier on.

Pernille Harder again, right place right time.

Fantastic run from Erin Cuthbert who runs past so many players. Nobody shuts her down, she picks out Harder who fires it into the back of the net.

Excellent from Harder and Cuthbert linking up there.

Wow. How is that not a penalty!?!

Lauren James is completely wiped out in the box by a flying tackle from Clare Wheeler.

    Corner given. Remarkable.

I'm no lip reader but I'm fairly certain James asked the referee, "are you having me on?!"
