    • Everton have lost each of their last five away matches against Chelsea in the WSL – they have conceded 17 goals in those games and failed to score in the last four themselves.
    • After losing five of their first six meetings with Everton in the WSL (W1), Chelsea have since won 10 of their 11 matches in the competition against the Toffees (D1).

    At the other end of the table it was a worrying day for Reading as they were thrashed at home by Aston Villa.

    Rachel Daly scored a brilliant hat-trick to take the lead in the race for the golden boot and leave Kelly Chambers' side two points from safety with two games remaining.

    United's win put them six points above Manchester City and that is how it stayed after Liverpool shocked Gareth Taylor's side at Prenton Park.

    That could be that for City in the title race and even their Champions League chances are suddenly look in the balance.

    Chelsea have made five changes to the side that beat Liverpool in their last WSL outing.

    Zecira Musovic replaces Ann-Katrin Berger in goal and Maren Mjelde comes in for Jess Carter at the back, while midfielders Sophie Ingle and Jelena Cankovic are chosen ahead of Melanie Leupolz and Erin Cuthbert.

    Further forwards, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd starts instead of Lauren James.

    Chelsea XI: Musovic, Perisset, Mjelde, Eriksson, Charles, Fleming, Ingle, Kaneryd, Reiten, Cankovic, Kerr.

    It's been quite the day of WSL action already but we're back with one more hugely important game.

    Chelsea are hunting a fifth title in six seasons and while they start the day in third, seven points behind leaders Manchester United, they have three games in hand.

    Win those and those go top, slip up and United - with their superior goal difference - are in pole position to win their first WSL crown.

    No margin for error for Chelsea then and tonight it is Everton standing in their way.

    Brighton get their second win under Melissa Phillips thanks to Kayleigh Green's goal.

    The win sees them leapfrog Tottenham and Leicester to go ninth in the table.

    West Ham still wait for their first WSL win of the year.

    City force another corner, surely almost time to send the goalkeeper up? They don't and Liverpool half clear, the ball comes back in, Bunny Shaw has a swing at a shot and once more it's blocked by a player in red. Those defenders have been superb today.

    Reading 0-5 Aston Villa

    That'll do it. Reading remain rock bottom of the WSL table after being demolished by a Rachel Daly-inspired Aston Villa.

    The England forward is up to 20 league goals this season and leads the race for the golden boot after a wonderful hat-trick.

    Reading have two games left to try and retain their top-flight status.
