They'll [Brentford] be encouraged by their ending to the first half, they had a goal disallowed, rightly, for offside. They got players into positive positions and they started to compete in the game more.

Not entirely convinced by Liverpool's tactic of just trying to rough up Toney. It could come back to bite them..

Brentford have been on the end of some fouls, fair enough. But this reliance on "winning" free-kicks, set-pieces and long throw-ins does not a great side make. It's a tedious match, but that's largely down to Brentford.

Matt: Presume Brad is referring to Kane the wrestler and not the footballer when he's says that Toney is a better goalscorer? In what realm is Toney a better goalscorer than Harry Kane!??

Jurgen Klopp will be a touch concerned that his side haven’t been able to go on and convert that early dominance into a more substantial lead.

It feels like more fouls than passes in this game!
