No goals for Blackburn in that first half. A familiar recent problem.

A reminder that one goal could change everything.

If they score, they will move level on points with Millwall, who occupy the final play-off spot, ahead of a meeting in South East London a week today.

With a draw, they would need to win at Millwall AND hope both West Brom and Sunderland fail to win at Swansea and Preston respectively to make the play-offs, given the huge difference in goal difference.

The first few grumblings from the Ewood Park faithful, as Ryan Hedges fails to get a cross beyond the first man in a good position.

The ball is worked to Tyrhys Dolan, who cuts inside on his right foot and looks to find the far corner with a curling effort.

He would do as well but for Sonny Bradley, who gets back to head it away as Ethan Horvath was rooted to the spot.

In the final third Blackburn just can't get it right.

They are failing miserably at the moment.

Good moments at both ends.

Some good Luton play as they build the ball through the thirds (as the coaches call it) but it ends with Alfie Doughty blazing a shot miles off target.

At the other end, Tyrhys Dolan gets in behind the back of the Luton defence, but his shot goes right across the face of goal.

It's on target but home goalkeeper Aynsley Pears is able to leap and catch it under his bar relatively safely.

Their front three are really busy, so fluent upfront, making runs and difficult to pick up.

Joe Rankin-Costello makes space nicely in the area from Sammie Szmodics' pass, but his shot is well saved by the legs of Ethan Horvath.

Nice play from Blackburn. Good response from the USA goalkeeper.

Sharp play from Carlton Morris as he reacts quickly to Luke Berry's touch in the box, but he slashes wide of the near post.

A couple of wake-up calls for the home defence with Morris showing why he has notched 20 Championship goals this season.

Blackburn need to be careful.

Strikers normally only need a couple of sniffs on goal and then they'll start hitting the target better.

Not too far away from Luton striker Carlton Morris.

Blackburn give the ball away in their own half and the ball is worked to Morris. His shot takes a big deflection off Rovers defender Dominic Hyam and it is only a couple of yards away from finding the net.

Blackburn playing with a good tempo and the home fans are responding. Lots to admire with how they are going.

They are dominating possession, but Luton are a tough nut to crack.

How costly will that miss from Harry Pickering prove to be?
