Are you kidding me!? Look at where Newcastle were last season compared to now. Europa would be a success and Howe would definitely stay. Arguably manager of the season!

    Oliver

Not a chance Eddie Howe is manager of the year. He should be closer to Arsenal in 2nd with the squad he has. He'll go soon once the owners show some ambition

    Anon

I don't think Howe will go. Neither is he manager of the season. De Zerbi's got far less money to play with and should walk away with that accolade.

One game down. Another five to go.

That point takes Leeds closer to safety but they remain in the bottom three, a point behind Everton.

They leapfrog Leicester City, who go second bottom before Monday's game against Liverpool.

Nottingham Forest are up next as they travel to Chelsea. They are currently two points above the drop zone.

Newcastle, in third place, are five points clear of challengers Liverpool. Next up, Manchester United, are only a point ahead of Jurgen Klopp's side in fourth. Can they extend that gap? They face Wolves.

We've had everything in this game. It's a joy to be here watching this.

The end of the season produces some wonderful game. It has been very nervy and tense but it was hugely important for Leeds that they didn't lose this so Sam Allardyce has something to build from in the final weeks.

All over at Elland Road. A topsy-turvy game with some huge moments. Leeds lost the lead but managed to get a late equaliser.

It's a vital point for them. Will it be enough to keep them up? Newcastle's grip on Champions League qualification is still not tight.

At Elland Road it's so close and you can easily jump over at the back of the technical area.

Fortunately, the stewards were quick to react and deal with the situation.

Howe will go? If so I'm a leprechaun

    Mike

Talking about Howe going if they don’t get CL football is insane. Wherever NUFC finish now he’s manager of the year for me.

Junior Firpo is the worst left back in the league. Fragile mentality and no real grasp of defensive positioning whatsoever. Discuss.

Newcastle are absolutely bottling this - yes we’ve only had 5 defeats this season but only 1 team has drawn more than we have (Everton have also drawn the same number of games). Liverpool will catch us for 4th unless we get off the beach and soon!

It's been an open game anyway but now we're into the final 10 minutes and both teams need a win, we could be in for an interesting ending.

Allan Saint-Maximin has hit first big chance, cutting in off the right and curling it straight at Joel Robles.
