Kieran Trippier's delivery is too high for Sven Botman and Luke Ayling lets it bounce behind for a goal kick.

Mark: Football is brutal and unforgiving. I know you have to judge over a season but that single pen miss from Bamford might be the mistake that sends Leeds down. If it does, no fan will ever forget it.

Patient from Newcastle. Joelinton then stabs it through to Callum Wilson and he's beaten to it - just - by Joel Robles.

It's pulled back by the referee for a late challenge on Joelinton and Newcastle have a free-kick in a good position.

Sam Greenwood does well initially to beat a player and drive through the middle.

But he faffs on the ball and Miguel Almiron sprints back to take it off him. There's a roar of frustration from the home fans.

Mike: Since Big Sam Allardyce came to Leeds United, they've given Manchester City and now Newcastle United a scare. Would Leeds be in Champions League contention if Sami Allardici had arrived earlier?

Adam: We all knew Leeds would concede so quickly after missing that penalty! It's such a huge game after all. We all remember Watford a few years back don't we. Oh dear.

Patrick Bamford is picked out by a long ball over the top and he tries to touch it on to Rodrigo, instead poking it out for a goal kick.

He's looked a bit lost since his penalty was saved - understandably!

Newcastle are looking sharp in attack.

Miguel Almiron gets in behind and wins a corner off Robin Koch. From the corner it's headed over by Fabian Schar. Decent chance.

Fabian Schar's slip allows Jack Harrison to gain possession on the edge of the Newcastle box. He lays it off to Weston McKennie but his curling cross is headed away. Joe Willock goes up the other end but can't get into the box.

Newcastle take a corner short before it's eventually whipped in by Kieran Trippier. It's good defending from Leeds and Rodrigo gets it away on the right. He's unhappy about something though, running over to the referee, wagging his finger aggressively.

Patrick Bamford never looked convincing or confident as he approached that penalty and the miss had altered the mood even before Callum Wilson put Newcastle level with a spot kick of their own.

Sam Allardyce claps his hands in encouragement for his players but suddenly Elland Road is flat.

Now we will see if the Sam Allardyce mentality kicks in.

You can run on adrenaline at the start of the game but now is when it counts.

The way Leeds have perfoming lately, it's going to be interesting to see how they react now.

As it stands, Newcastle are up to 66 points, four points above Liverpool in fifth.

Every point matters. But they want three and the pressure is starting to mount on Leeds.

These games can change so quick. Pace frigthens defenders and that was silly from Wober.

Wilson put so much power on that strike. It was full of conviction.

Such a clumsy challenge from Maximilian Wober as he swings a leg out, bringing down Alexander Isak.

Wow. Minutes after Patrick Bamford is denied from the spot at one end, Newcastle have a penalty at the other!

Bamford just clips it, he doesn't use any power and Pope gathers it.
