In a statement, Everton's Aggie Beever-Jones has apologised to Arsenal's Lia Walti for her red-card challenge which caused injury in their earlier 4-1 defeat.
Beever-Jones, 19, said she is "absolutely devastated" to have received a red card and that is was an "unintentionally reckless challenge".
"Most importantly, I meant no harm to Lia," she added.
"That's not the way I would have ever wanted to end my loan at a brilliant football club.
"Thank you for everything this season."
