Plymouth seal the League One title in style as they overcome Port Vale despite going a goal down early on.

Ipswich have to settle for second place but with a whopping 98-point haul.

Meanwhile Peterborough seal sixth spot on the final day to deny Derby who were defeated by third-placed Sheffield Wednesday.

Morecambe's loss to Exeter confirms Cambridge will play League One football next season.

What a remarkable end-of-season run for the U's.

Two wins in their final three games has kept them in the division. The fans flood the pitch in joy. They've done it.

Morecambe fought to the end but they are down.

Derek Adams' side were undone by Jay Stansfield's hat-trick in his final game for Exeter, which ends a run of six consecutive defeats.

That result also means Cambridge's survival in League One is now confirmed.

Bolton secure fifth spot with a last day win at the Memorial Stadium.

Goals from Shola Shoretire, Dan N'Lundulu and Aaron Morley sets up a play-off semi-final with Barnsley.

Elsewhere in League One,

Cheltenham draw 2-2 with Charlton in an exciting second half that saw a pair of goals in the closing minutes.

It's ended 2-2 between Portsmouth and Wycombe at Fratton Park. Lewis Wing scored an outrageous goal from 50 yards out for the visitors.

And Matty Virtue's goal on the 73rd minute lifts Lincoln City to a 1-0 over Shrewsbury.

Accrington have officially been relegated to League Two.

They were all but down before a ball was kicked due to their goal difference but it's been confirmed despite their win at Oxford.

Heartbreak for Derby and joy for Peterborough.

Michael Smith's penalty was enough to give Wednesday the win which drops 10-man Derby out of the play-off places on the final day of the season.

News of the final whistle at Hillsborough sparks massive roars over in the away end at Oakwell where Peterborough have booked their play-off place.

MK Dons have been relegated to League Two as it ends goalless against Burton.

That means Cambridge will stay in League One unless Morecambe can find three goals in added time at Exeter.

It's all over at Oakwell and Posh have done their part of the bargain.

Jonson Clarke-Harris and Jack Taylor have secured an 11th away win of 2023 for Posh.

Well, it was a better second half for both sides after a flat goalless opening 45 minutes.

The 4,000 travelling fans are having a party at Vale Park and they're singing 'champions' in the away stand.

Deserved 3-1 win over Port Vale.
