I would be just as frustrated as Mary Earps because that moment didn't have to happen.
It was a transitional moment in midfield in a dangerous area. Possession was given to the Chinese and they capitalised off the back of a Lucy Bronze handball.

She tried all her usual mind games but, though they were successful in the penalty shootout at the Finalissima [when England beat South American champions Brazil 4-2 on spot-kicks], they weren't here.

Earps has very, very high standards.

It's a very good save indeed as the ball zipped up just in front of the England keeper.

It's really wise for Sarina Wiegman to bring on Laura Coombs to get some big game experience at this tournament.
She links up play, she does the simple things well which is wildly effective and incredibly important.

A rare error from Lucy Bronze, giving the ball away and that enables Lou Jiahui to run at goal, but she doesn't have the pace to pull clear and England manage to get bodies back and clear.
