    Great work from Elijah Adebayo.

He gets into the channel and he’s one-on-one.

He twists Kyle McFadzean inside out and finds Jordan Clark with a great ball and it’s definitely well-deserved.

Just to say Sky Sports are reporting from pitchside that Tom Lockyer was conscious as he left the field on a stretcher, and that his family were present.

    Fingers crossed for him.

Utterly brilliant goal by Luton who have played direct and fast and with power - and get their reward.

It's a long ball forward which Elijah Adebayo chases, shrugs off his marker Kyle McFadzean and holds the ball up.

He rolls it back to Jordan Clark, whose first touch takes him into space and then arrows the shot past Ben Wilson.

Score opened and it's deserved. One step closer to the Premier League for Luton.

It's almost the Hollywood moment for Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, as a raking left-footer from Alfie Doughty picks out Elijah Adebayo on the edge of the Coventry box, and a cushioned knock-down falls beautifully.

Mpanzu, the skipper and hero, goes to sidefoot it with measured precision but puts it straight at Ben Wilson.

Luton really forcing the issue and Coventry can't get the ball out of their own half not can they keep possession.

Thrice they handed the men in orange the ball, and latterly, Carlton Morris brought the ball down in the box but his shot was deflected over.

Kyle McFadzean booms away the header from the resulting corner.

Tom Lockyer has had some memorable first-halves this season.

He scored the first-minute Luton goal when they drew 1-1 at Coventry back in February.

He also powered in the header two minutes before half-time against Sunderland that took the Hatters to Wembley.

But being stretchered off after less than a quarter of an hour here is a very painful early end to his afternoon. You have to feel sad for such a talismanic figure.

    Luton 0-0 Coventry

Luton couldn't have set their stall out any more obviously, it's direct to a tee.

Coventry so far are absorbing the attacks, barring Carlton Morris' little sneaky effort, but they know that the ball will keep coming and in Elijah Adebayo and Morris the Hatters having willing runners.

When they get hold of it, you'd imagine Coventry will try to move the ball through the lines more.

Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu is picked out by a throw on the right, down by the corner flag, but his volleyed cross for Luton is blocked.

Corner. It's whipped in back post, but Ben Wilson gathers.

Coventry’s start has been really bitty.

There’s been no flow to it and it can only get better.

Luton almost pounce, and it's route one.

One long ball forward, Carlton Morris sneaks in between Kyle McFadzean and goalkeeper Ben Wilson, and having chested the ball down, dribbles his shot wide.

Coventry were static there. Luton almost ahead. Their fans find some cheer.

Elijah Adebayo powers the header away after Coventry swing the corner into their penalty area.

    Luton clear.

Tough assignment for Reece Burke, clearly concern for his teammate but he and the rest of the players must get their game-heads back on.

You don’t want to see Tom Lockyer going off. He’s been so good this season.

When you see the Coventry medical staff helping, you know it’s serious. It’s never nice. Best wishes with him.

It’s vital they keep concentration now, they have to think about the game and the win.

Tom Lockyer it is who is down. Such a sad moment here perhaps. The talismanic centre-back for Luton has been a key figure. Championship team of the year.

A few of the Hatters players were milling around close by in concern, baking in the sun. Boss Rob Edwards runs on, grabs them into the shade and forms a huddle.

How they respond to this setback will be vital. Edwards now looks pensive, there's genuine concern for Lockyer's welfare, as a human being not just a footballer.

Still not resumed. Lockyer on the stretcher and being carried away.

Coventry City boss Mark Robins said the Wembley roar can make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.

    He was not kidding.

    Magnificent atmosphere.

If it was loud as they kicked off, it was nothing compared to the piercing scream from the Luton end when the Hatters scrambled the ball in the back of the Coventry net, only to be instantly deafened by the Sky Blue roar of relief when it was obviously chalked off.

    I think it’s a fair decision.

I wasn’t sure if it was handball or what the ref had seen. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s offside.

Tom Lockyer’s going to head the kitchen sink to get to that ball before the opposition. Luton have certainly been the better side

Mark Robins might not be quite so 'Love Island' but he's still relaxed too.
