Fifa Women's World Cup: USA and Netherlands play out entertaining draw

2. USA top Group E on four points - same number as Netherlands who trail on goal difference
3. Match was repeat of 2019 World Cup final which was won by USA
4. Portugal and Vietnam, who are also in Group E, play their second group game later (08:30 BST).

Sophia Smith sends in a dangerous cross, and for a second it looks like the ball will break to a USA boot.

But Netherlands survive.

Trinity Rodman is almost set away, however keeper Daphne Van Domselaar comes out to sweep well.

Lieke Martens, the player stationed on the post for the Dutch, heads it wide for a corner. That was heading into the top corner if not for that intervention.

She is set free one on one by Sophia Smith, but is at an angle to the left of the box and drags her shot wide of the far post.

This was the showpiece game when the groups were drawn last year, and it has not disappointed.

They work it really well around the box, great interplay between Victoria Pelova and Jill Roord before it is pulled back to Esmee Brugts to strike.

Julie Ertz has to make an excellent last-gasp block to deflect the shot for a corner, which the USA clear.

I really enjoy watching Danielle Van de Donk. She has both sides to her game. She excites me but she's had some duels today against some of the US players.

It has been relentless United States pressure since the equaliser, Trinity Rodman the latest attacker to test the Dutch defence.

Netherlands are defending well, but this could be a long final 15 minutes for them.

Sophia Smith has been a livewire this game, such an exciting player.

Here she gets the ball stuck under her feet in the Dutch area, but still manages to get a shot away which flies just over the bar.

A few Dutch players unhappy with Ertz, but the ball was there to be won.

USA are hunting now. A loose pass is snapped up by Sophia Smith 30 yards from the Dutch goal, and the orange shirts have to swarm back to snuff out the danger.

Alex Morgan appears to have streaked away to put USA in front, she pokes Trinity Rodman's through ball past Daphne Van Domselaar.

However, she moved too early and was a yard offside.
