The Netherlands are quite comfortable in possession whereas every time the USA have a thrown in, corner or free-kick, they want to get going and to play with that intensity. Two very different styles but it makes the game more exciting.

The Netherlands defensively have been very good. There have been some good deliveries by the USA into the box, but Netherlands have dealt with them.

The USA are racking up their corner count in this first half, and it nearly pays off as Lindsey Horan flicks an Andi Sullivan effort just wide.

There are goals everywhere in this American team, but so far the Dutch are holding strong.

Trinity Rodman can only half clear a cross straight to Dominique Janssen, who sends a dangerous, dipping half-volley onto the roof of the net.

American keeper Alyssa Naeher was full stretch, she was a worried woman.

USA have work to do.

You can already see the lift and energy that goal has given the Netherlands team. They were under the cosh for the first 15 minutes.

The USA put pressure on every part of their team, they couldn't get out. Since the goal we've seen the Netherlands on the front foot.

Another corner to the US, who have responded well to going behind.

That was a good chance.

The USA have won their last 13 consecutive games at Women's World Cups, and have gone 18 finals matches without defeat.
