Argentina can take a lot of positives form their first half performance, it's just those finer details now.

They played well in the first half but didn't trouble the Swedish defence or the Swedish goalkeeper when they had it.

Chiara Beccari times a run well to break clear of the defence and she charges towards goal. Barbara Bonansea is in support but Beccari overhits her pass and a good chance goes.

Argentina have had good possession of the ball but they are rushing in Sweden's defensive third. Look after the ball, take care of it.

A quick check by VAR and nothing is given.

Still, South Africa are playing with a real belief they can win this now as half time approaches.

A chorus of boos from South Africa fans as Jermaine Seoposenwe goes down right on the edge of the box under a challenge as she tries to surge into the box.

It is being checked by VAR but didn't look to be anything in it.

Graham: We were taught as kids at school - NEVER hit a backpass towards your own goal. Then, the worse that will happen is that you give away a corner....

Sadly that is it for Florencia Bonsegundo as she is taken off on a stretcher with what appears to be a knee injury and Daiana Falfán replaces her.

Just watching the replay, it seems like no contact. I don't think Hanna Bennison even touches Florencia Bonsegundo so then you get worried.

It seems to be her knee and it looks like a non contact injury which is more worrying.

You can see she is distraught.

Big concern for Argentina here because Florencia Bonsegundo is down injured and the stretcher is brought on. She's holding her knee and it looks like she won't be able to continue.

As things stand it is still Sweden and Italy going through but the door is back open for Argentina to progress. They need to score, however.

That was a long and nervous wait for South Africa's players for what appeared to be a possible handball just before Italy hit the post, but the check is complete and play continues.
