An absolutely gigantic let off for Australia.

They look nervous, and have not strung together any coherent moves of note yet.

Huge miss! France should be 1-0 up as the corner drops to Sandie Toletti who volleys goalwards.

Her shot is going wide but France's Maelle Lakrar is standing on the post and only has to tap the ball home.

It comes to her too quickly though and she slices her effort over from about two yards out.

Australia deal with the corner initially but a follow-up cross is then blocked behind for another set piece.

Alanna Kennedy really struggles with dealing with players like Kadidiatou Diani who has got pace.

Kennedy is pulling Diani. It should be a foul and a yellow card. Diani was being too honest. Most strikers that I've played against would have gone down.

She is getting pulled and it's in a very dangerous position as well.

Defender Alanna Kennedy slices her clearance into the air and Kadidiatou Diani is on to it, bursting into the area before firing a shot wide across goal.

Kennedy was pulling Diani's shirt back, if she'd have gone down we could have seen a yellow, even a red.

The crowd have found their voice early and it reaches fever pitch whenever Australia go forward, or whenever a player does anything remotely good.

Mackenzie Arnold making a regulation catch is treated like a winning goal.

Early chance for Australia and the noise rises as they come downfield.

Hayley Raso cuts inside before delivering a delicious ball which just misses Caitlin Foord and France keeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin in the area.

At the other end, Australia keeper Mackenzie Arnold easily gathers a cross.

What you'll notice with Australia is that they will sit off and aim to counter attack against France.
