Good play by Inter wing-back Federico Dimarco who lofts in a big cross and Nicolo Barella's volley hits the head of Nathan Ake and goes for a corner.

Chris: Man City are favourites to win, I cannot see how Inter survives their attack. But I still have a sneaking feeling that tonight will not be Man City's night.....don't know how but just a feeling.

Nick: On paper Inter are nowhere near City. Early on however the club and players look far more comfortable in a European final than City do.

Two sides feeling each other out so far. Inter Milan certainly not looking daunted in any way and why should they? One of two moments of threat from Manchester City already, though.

Ederson thinks a ball into the box is going out of play but he completely gets it wrong as he lets it bounce. Lautaro Martinez heads it back from the byeline but nobody is there to take advantage.

When Inter have the chance to get the ball they have to be brave in possession. And they have done that so far. They've pressed Manchester City a lot higher than many of us thought they would. I thought they'd sit back and counter but they've been aggressive with their press so far.

Good header by Ruben Dias to get away Federico Dimarco's cross. A sliced clearance from Ederson gives Inter a throw-in.

I can spot Pep Guardiola's first problem.

It has just taken him 19 strides to get from his dug-out to the edge of his technical area, which is absolutely enormous.

Guardiola tends to have frequent dialogue with his coaching staff, often to let them know when he is not happy with something.

That is going to involve a lot of walking this evening.

Nathan Jones has managed what nobody else has so far this season - knocking City out of a cup.
