    Stage managers tells me City's in house band are the only ones doing the performances: Paul Hand Band (still can’t tell if they’re being coy).

    Blossoms and Mike Joyce of the Smiths are amongst those in VIP area, which they’re hoping to grab on stage and have chats with.

    No sightings of any Gallaghers… yet.

    Manchester City fans were jubilant when their team won 1-0 against Inter Milan, in Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium.

    Watching from a fan zone in Manchester, supporters celebrated City completing the Treble following their Premier League and FA Cup victories.

    There is no danger of Pep Guardiola taking his foot off the pedal, says former Manchester City midfielder Michael Brown.

    Success in Istanbul against Inter Milan on Saturday made it 12 trophies since he arrived at Etihad Stadium in 2016 but Brown told a special episode of The Football News Show, the Spanish boss is here to stay.

    Something for the rest of the league to stew on.

    The crowd along the route is nearly five people deep in some places. Vuvuzelas are drowning out any chanting. Some plucky fans have climbed up the traffic lights in an attempt to get the best view.

    One person looking forward to the parade is David Mooney, the creative force behind the Blue Moon podcast.

    He's been telling the BBC about the huge amount of quality in Manchester City's squad adding that Pep Guardiola always has a trick up his sleeve with his tactics.

    David adds that he is going to be out in Manchester to literally soak up the atmosphere.

    "I am going to go get wet in the parade when it rains," he says.

    Manchester City were welcomed home by fans as they arrived back in the UK from Istanbul on Sunday after winning the Champions League for the first time.

    Supporters gathered at Manchester Airport as City landed at 16:20 BST yesterday.

    Tens of thousands more are expected to line the streets in Manchester city centre for the victory parade today.

    The City squad will travel in an open-top bus through the city, before a stage show takes place with Guardiola and his players.
