There are aspects that have been excellent, that left side of the pitch is working excellently.
We could probably learn from that down the right. Hickey is being too safe when he should be putting the ball into the box early.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
John McGinn rides a challenge, then another before having a lash. The shot is deflected over.

Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on Viaplay
That's a great save. An absolutely wonderful save.
It's great from Scott McTominay as well to guide it towards that back post.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
A drop of the shoulder from Scott McTominay and the Scotland midfielder curls a low shot in the direction of the bottom corner. Giorgi Mamardashvili gets fingertips to it though.

That's just our luck that when the ball breaks to John McGinn right in front of goal, it lands on the only square foot of grass that didn't get brushed.

That's incredible. I don't know if the surface plays a part.
A great pick out again from Andy Robertson. You just expect John McGinn to put his foot through it and burst the net.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
John McGinn is free near the penalty spot and Andy Robertson picks him out. The less said about the mis-timed shot the better.

You can hear the crowd when Robertson picks the ball up.
He's just being so positive every time he gets it, driving at them, trying to commit players and get to the line, and making things happen.
It lifts this Hampden crowd.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
Scotland go left again, although the cross is easily intercepted by visiting goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.

Mentally it will be difficult for them, they'll be feeling hard done by as well as losing the goal and the very poor conditions.
The other thing is they haven't really threatened yet. Nice play, easy on the eye, but they haven't done anything in the final third or anything in and around our box. There was one shot put by the left-hand post but other than that it's all be played in front of Scotland.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
Another dangerous cross from Scotland's left flank, this time from Andy Robertson, and again no one in blue can get a telling touch as Lyndon Dykes throws himself at the ball to no avail.

It looks like the Georgian right-back Otar Kakabadze has been singled out as the weak link.
At every opportunity, a long diagonal is being scudded over his head in the direction of a rampaging Andy Robertson or one of his team mates. Kieran Tierney the latest to have him floundering in a puddle.
The grass certainly does look pretty slushy still over on the main stand side, here.

Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on Viaplay
You can tell Andy Robertson is playing with a lot of confidence.
He's constantly trying to take players on.

Seems a silly thing to say given this ridiculous delay is due to poor weather... but it's actually, quite a nice night.
If this was in the freezing cold of November, we'd all be furious.
Scotland 1-0 Georgia
From a corner, John McGinn spins and tries to get a shot off but his effort is blocked in a busy penalty box.

Scotland 1-0 Georgia
The water table appears to be rising again, with more and more splashes appearing when the ball is struck. Still nothing like the opening stages of the match.
