There isn't a team or name in the past 20 years that hasn't been chanted to Seven Nation Army and Ange Postecoglou isn't going to buck that trend. The Spurs fans are still enjoying themselves as we enter eight more added on.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 87 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Tottenham

Big Kieffer Moore is on for Philip Billing.

All four of Moore’s Premier League goals have come at the Vitality Stadium for Bournemouth, netting a brace in this exact fixture last season, giving the Cherries a two-goal lead before losing 2-3. However, Moore has failed to find the net with any of his last 15 attempts in the Premier League, since netting against Everton in November 2022.

Lewis Cook, who has yet to score a Premier League goal, scuffs one wide from 20 yards. It's been very flat since the second goal, with the weather not helping matters.

In all that Spurs have done this summer, the one thing I don't understand is the desire to offload Hojbjerg. They need grit as well as flair.

With Kane only just out the door, in many ways Richarlison is like a new signing. Give him a full season (and service), then judge.

Brentford had three recognised strikers in their squad, Toney, Mbeumo and Wissa. If you look across the Premier League not too many sides have three strikers, even the top teams.

Man City have two, Arsenal have two... Brentford have three, they were ready for this.

No one would want to lose Ivan Toney but these other two guys Mbeumo and Wissa want to prove a point, that they are not to be missed.

The side are getting good results without Toney, so no one can complain about their performances in his absence.

A strange one for Destiny Udogie, he plays a backpass to his goalkeeper and instantly goes down clutching his face in pain. That's not a good sign.

Man Utd v Nottingham Forest (15:00 BST)

    Simon Stone

Stuart Pearce and Stan Collymore were on target the last time Nottingham Forest beat Manchester United, at Old Trafford, in 1994.

Granted, the two clubs have only played 11 times since, including on four occasions last term, when United won every time and Forest didn't even score.

But Forest travel north from the east Midlands in confident mood. They were excellent in defeat on the opening day at Arsenal and beat Sheffield United last Friday.

This could be a famous day for Steve Cooper's men.

A week is a long time in football but I 100% still think Sean Dyche is the right man for the job at Everton.

But will that be enough? It is about the players too.

In the background of all these on-pitch issues the club are spending billions of pounds on a new stadium.

Money has been spent on this group of players but the recruitment has not been good enough, and the team working on it doesn't seem at the level against the Premier League.

But a home game against Wolves who are struggling themselves, Everton must win today.

Richy clearly not in the right mindset. We all know what he's capable of - if you're Brazil no. 9 you're not too shabby! A goal would be a huge confidence boost for him. It'll come, just not today sadly.

A big ovation for both James Maddison and Antoine Semenyo as they come off, they've both been good today. Maddison is replaced by Oliver Skipp, while Gio lo Celso comes on for Yves Bissouma.

David Brooks takes the place of Semenyo in the Bournemouth side.

Destiny Udogie is a very, very good signing for Tottenham.

He provides a lot of energy, good technical ability in the build up going forward and is good defensively too.

If they can manage him throughout the season, which will be long and demanding, he can really bring the balance for the side, offer that attacking option they need on the wide left-hand side

Spurs fans, we'll happily have Richarlison back if he's not working out for you. In fact I would willingly carry him from North London to Goodison Park if that clinches the deal.
