Jurgen Klopp wants a replica [of the team] that is better. It will take time to find out who plays well with who, so I don't expect it just to click, I think it will take two or three more games.

Wolves' only win in 12 league matches last season against teams that finished in the top six of the table was a 3-0 victory at home to Liverpool.

The Reds will need to be wary of set-pieces with all four of Wolves’ league goals this season coming from headers. Three of those have been assisted by Pedro Neto.

Liverpool are on a good run though having gone unbeaten in 15 Premier League matches since a 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on 1 April.

But they failed to win any of their six Saturday 12.30pm kick-offs last season (D3, L3) - five of which were away from home.

"Leicester City won the league. I was at that game," said Hodgson.

"Anybody who says this is not a possibility for us is underestimating what can happen.

"I certainly don’t write off the chance of Crystal Palace getting into European football."

    Chris Collinson, BBC Football statistician:

Roberto Firmino left the Premier League in a blaze of glorious finishing last season, scoring twice as many goals as expected to claim the title of 'Best Finisher' in his swansong season (11 goals from an xG of 5.5).

While he hasn’t been clinical at taking them so far, Darwin Nunez is getting an elite level of chances in his early Premier League career. If he can produce more of the laser-focused finishing he showed recently at Newcastle, then the goals will come.

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards on summer signing Ross Barkley: "He's been brilliant since he's come in and around the place. He's very humble, really respectful, and works extremely hard.

"We haven't seen the best of him yet because that's never going to happen, he's not had a full pre-season."

On Fulham, he added: "They had a really difficult run of fixtures recently but they are a very good team and we're aware of their strengths.

"Marco Silva is a top manager, so it's going to be difficult. We have to make sure we learn from all elements of the three games we've had so far."

"I think he will be one more to help us going forward."
