  1. 'Insipid so far from United'published at 15:46 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn and Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United's first half performance has been rather insipid.

Not enough chances created and all just a little bit flat really.

    Everton 1-2 Luton Town

Luton are hanging on a bit now. James Garner hits a half-volley towards goal and it's blocked in the six-yard area.

  3. Amrabat's dual rolepublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Is Sofyan Amrabat being asked to do much? A defensive midfielder by trade, he is filling in at left back today but when Manchester United do have possession and get forward, he is pushing into midfield to allow Mason Mount to join the attack.

That, in theory, is allowing Mount to be more effective in an area he is more familiar with, but Amrabat has to be really on his game because if an attack breaks down and Palace counter, there's suddenly a lack of numbers back there for the hosts.

We're into three minutes of added time at Molineux, can City get themselves on level terms before the break?

John: People need to remember that Luton have been written off plenty of times in the last ten years or so - we thrive on it.

Mark: Re James at 15:37 ETH on borrowed time? That's the kind of short term thinking that's got United to the position they're in now.

Lu: Amrabat was world's greatest left back mid week. How has he gone from Worlds greatest to uncomfortable?

  6. Goal stands!published at 15:44 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Everton 1-2 Luton Town

It's been given. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has now scored in three consecutive matches for the Toffees.

  7. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenalpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Martin Odegaard (penalty)

    Ice-cool from the captain.

A stuttered run-up and Martin Odegaard sends Neto the wrong way.

Bukayo Saka had picked the ball up first and looked set to take the penalty before handing it to Odegaard.

    The Gunners are in control.

  8. VAR check...published at 15:43 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Everton 1-2 Luton Town

They are checking for a potential offside in the build-up to that Everton goal, as well as a potential foul in the box.

It's a long, long wait for those in Goodison Park awaiting confirmation.

  9. Postpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

Nathan Ake swings an arm back as he turns Pedro Neto and tries to get away. It just catches Neto and he seems to be in some bother.

The referee hasn't seen fit to dish out a booking, mind.

  10. PENALTY TO ARSENALpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Bournemouth 0-1 Arsenal

    Max Aarons on Eddie Nketiah.

The referee points straight to the spot.

    Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace

Five minutes until half-time and it's all so frustrating for Manchester United. Casemiro with the latest attempt but it isn't on target. Palace's travelling fans are in full voice. The natives are restless.

  12. Wolves' hard workpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves are doing really well here.

They are scrambling when they have to but most of the time there is an element of control about their defensive work and they are trying to play through the thirds as the best way of relieving the Manchester City pressure.

They did lead Liverpool for 48 minutes in their last game at Molineux before eventually wilting.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    West Ham 2-0 Sheff Utd

Heavy challenge from Edson Alvarez as Sheffield United try to take advantage of a rare break and he's into the book.

  14. goal

GOAL - Everton 1-2 Luton Townpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin (41 mins)

A way back in for Everton!

It's a scramble but Abdoulaye Doucoure's effort is blocked by Thomas Kaminski.

There's plenty following up on the rebound and it looks like Dominic Calvert-Lewin got there first. There will be a VAR check as there's bodies on the floor in the build-up.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

Mario Lemina finds himself in the book for a challenge on, you've guessed it, Matheus Nunes.

There wasn't that much in it but he kicked the ball away after the free-kick had been awarded and I reckon that's probably what made Craig Pawson get his card out.

  16. Postpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

  17. Dawson v Haalandpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

Craig Dawson and Erling Haaland are having a real physical confrontation.

Haaland is backing into the veteran Wolves defender, who is responding by grabbing the striker's arm and shoving him back.

Neither man is giving an inch at present.

Floy: Arsenal leading, City trailing... Please blow the final whistles now!

Oscar: From the heady heights of optimism after two wins, I've come crashing down to the reality of life as an Everton supporter. 2-0 down, at Goodison, to a newly promoted team who arrived with just 1 point.

Daniel: Everton it seems are engaged in a bold experiment to see how bad it is possible to get without being relegated. I think this could be the year they find out

  19. 'Brilliant from James Trafford'published at 15:38 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Newcastle 1-0 Burnley

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Final Score

What a save. This is nailed on. Look at Almirón he's completely free at the back.

All it needs is a nod. James Trafford gets across gets his angle spot on, makes himself big, makes a brilliant save eventually cleared off the line but brilliant from James Trafford.

Matt: I see Luton are taking this relegation 6 pointer very seriously.

Andy: I'm glad the new owners are watching this awful Dyche style football.. 2 wins recently have papered over the massive cracks at Everton and its time for him to go!

James: 95% of football fans except city to come back so won't be overly impressed when it happens. Not sure anybody has that same confidence in the red side of Manchester. ETH on borrowed time.
