    West Ham 1-0 Sheff Utd

Hello, West Ham think there might've been a handball in the box and VAR is going to have a look at this. Check over fairly quickly, though, and Sheffield United are in the clear.

    No penalty.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:29 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Newcastle 1-0 Burnley

Alexander Isak does all the hard work with a well-timed run in behind. He is one-on-one with James Trafford and tries to beat him.

He gets lucky as it bounces off the goalkeeper and over him but Isak then fumbles it as he struggles to keep his balance.

It was an open goal and he missed from a few yards!

  3. 'Saka on his own'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

Goalkeepers hate that kind of ball it was a curling ball right to the far post and Jesus has read it he's tracked it and tracked it and he's just kept it alive.

As he's headed it back across goal it's hit the near post and bounced out.

All of the defenders have gone towards it and Saka just found himself on his own.

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

Manchester City have a free-kick and it's a scramble in the penalty area to but Nelson Semedo eventually clears away.

Only as far as Jeremy Doku, though, who does well to keep hold of the ball and pick up another free-kick.

  5. 'A strikers finish from the centre half'published at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn and Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is a striker's finish from Andersen.

Ball in from the right, goes right through the box towards Andersen, and he just cushions the finish, uses the inside of the foot to guide it back across the goal.

It fizzes it into the far top corner beyond the reach of Onana.

  6. Fantastic techniquepublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Crystal Palace's long wait for a first-half goal this season was well worth the wait!

That was an absolute cracker of a strike by Joachim Andersen as he hooked the ball into the top corner. Fantastic technique.

To be fair, there had been warning signs for Manchester United, who have been a bit exposed at the back.

  7. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 0-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Joachim Andersen

    That's a scorcher!

Eberechi Eze whips a free-kick into the box which eventually falls nicely for Joachim Andersen to volley past Andre Onana.

It's a wonderful piece of technique from Andersen. One for the scrapbook!

Rashford is in desperate need of a performance today. So much so his decision making is quite poor and he's trying to do it all himself.

Crystal Palace have made a solid start. Groans from the home fans as Diogo Dalot carelessly gives away possession. A few moments later Casemiro does the same. Sloppy by United.

That was coming because it's happened again here.

Everton creating bags of chances and then the visitors go in front.

  11. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-0 Sheff Utdpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Jarrod Bowen (24 mins)

Well it just had to be him didn't it!

Lovely West Ham move as Vladimir Coufal is free on the right and cuts back looking for only one man, Jarrod Bowen of course.

The Hammers' man of the moment picks his spot from the edge of the area and it's a lovely slotted goal into the bottom left. There's just a sense of inevitability when he picks up the ball in those areas.

  12. goal

GOAL - Everton 0-1 Luton Townpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Tom Lockyer (24 mins)

    From another corner!

Carlton Morris again smashes the crossbar with a superb header, it's a scramble on the goalline and Tom Lockyer is there to fire in the rebound.

What a moment for him and Luton at Goodison Park.

Luton look really dangerous off set-pieces. Carlton Morris' header is a good one and fortunately for Everton is bounces off the shoulder of James Tarkowski and over the bar.

  14. 'United lacking spark'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn and Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

In midweek in the League Cup Manchester United had Hannibal, Pellistri and Garnacho, and they gave the side real energy and legs.

They have just lacked that spark the first twenty or so minutes this afternoon.

That was Bukayo Saka's first away goal of the Premier League season. Arsenal's previous three away games all ended in 1-0 wins. Is this also going to finish 1-0?

Ruben Dias, trying to make up for that own goal earlier, picks up the ball on the edge of box and tries to drive into the area but runs into a wall of Wolves shirt.

It's been more than a year since the Portugal man put one in the right net.

    Newcastle 1-0 Burnley

Since going a goal ahead, Newcastle have settled into their rhythym and looked pretty comfortable.

Burnley were well on top in the opening stages but they have had the sting taken out of them.

Sean Longstaff has just dragged a shot wide for Newcastle after another attack down the right.

  19. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

The skipper times his run well and heads it just over the bar from Luton's corner.

  20. 'Dias can't stop himself'published at 15:20 British Summer Time 30 September 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Man City

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on BBC Final score

He's gone down the right hand side but he's taken a big sort of loop around to get to that crossing position he's shrugged Foden off, shrugged off Ake, he gets right to the byline.

He gets to the six yard box just tries to pull it back to the penalty spot, Dias has come flying in and he can't stop himself.
