Son will get all the plaudits but he is not the one who should. The ball from Maddison is simply sublime.
Gomez switches off for a second, Alisson wrongly decides to come out, Richarlison with the outside of the foot for the square ball, and a first time finish from Son.
I've never heard the atmosphere like this before, they are fully behind Ange Postecoglou and what he is trying to do!
Son Heung-Min (37 mins)
Well, moments after Liverpool thought they had taken the lead, Son Heung-Min goes and does that.
Delightful ball by James Maddison to find Richarlison, who squares across for Son and it's a simple finish right in front of goal for the Spurs captain.

Mike: Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. When are we going to have officials in charge of this game that actually understand the game we love so much. What a ridiculous red card.
Anon: If he's glanced off the top of the ball that tells you all you need to know about how high the challenge was. Clear red. Stop being silly saying he didn't mean it for crying out loud.
Jordan: Spurs fan here and not a red for me. His foot accidentally rolls over the ball. The slo-mo freeze frame makes everything look worse
Andy: If Casimiro's from last season vs Southampton was a red then so was that
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Yes, after a very quick VAR check, Luis Diaz is indeed deemed to be offside.
We remain level after 35 minutes.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Liverpool get away on the counter, Mo Salah sends Luis Diaz through and the Columbian slots past Guglielmo Vicario into the bottom of the far corner.
Hang on, VAR will have a look at this. Is he definitely offside?

That was never a red, standard of refereeing a weekly issue in this league.
Harry, Abergavenny
Refs can't win. Gusto got a red card last week for the exact same challenge. Now we are seeing some consistency, but people complain that it shouldn't be a red but Gusto's was?!

Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
After some good work by Spurs, Richarlison finds himself in some decent space around 10 yards out. He goes high, aiming for the roof of the net, but it ends up ballooning way over into the stands.

Liverpool have gone to a 4-4-1 with Salah coming more central, and the midfield setting up with Gakpo on the right, Diaz off the left and Szoboszlai alongside Mac Allister in the middle.
They will look to counter attack and use Salah's pace in behind.
It is going to be a long afternoon for them.
FT: Wolves 2-1 Man City
Wolves
Wolves manager Gary O'Neil speaking to BBC Sport after the win over Manchester City: "[I am] pleased, of course. The season's not started well for us. [It has] been a tough start. The lads have stayed committed in every game and gave everything. The game looked exactly as we prepped.
"I'm not out here making big statements. I am just trying to win a game of football. [We have] Aston Villa next week and they won 6-1 today. If the prep can go as well as it did and the lads stick to the plan we can cause them some problems.
"We needed to find a way to be solid and have enough attacking players to carry us up the pitch. We prepped for the game really well. The lads saw all the [patterns] that we looked at and they carried it out brilliantly."
Best win as Wolves boss? "Beating the best team in the world, and possibly ever, is a massive result for us. It is a big result. Beating Manchester City with where they are and off where we were and what people were saying about it. To answer it with that, was pretty pleasing."
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Good effort from James Maddison, well saved by Allison.
Tottenham will try to put the pressure on now, you would think.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
I mentioned earlier that that marks Liverpool's third sending off of the season. On both of those occasions Liverpool still won the match.

Silvio: Now the way they think is that you gotta have control of your body. Jones here didn't have it. For this modern era, it's a pretty clear red card.
Jay: Liverpool down to 10, will now go 1-0 down and then the Klopp 1/2 time talk. Standard. No panic needed because Liverpool will eventually win 4-2.
Alex: That's an ankle breaker from Curtis Jones. A definite red card.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
We play on - 60 minutes now feels like a very long time for Liverpool down to 10 men.

I think it is very harsh. The big thing is that VAR are slowing the incident down as opposed to the initial challenge.
He gets the top of the ball Curtis Jones and then his foot goes over the ball into the ankle of Bissouma.
You can see both sides to the argument though.
I understand why the Spurs fans are disappointed with the tackle but everything looks worse slowed down.
This could change everything.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Yves Bissouma is still on the grass after that challenge.
What will Jurgen Klopp do here?

Richard: Jones’ foot rolls off the ball?!? What is this nonsense?!?!
Oliver: Not sure what the TV commentators are saying here. That's a very, very dangerous challenge. You can't go in studs first like that
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Oh dear!
It's red for Curtis Jones as Simon Hooper overturns his original yellow card decision and instead dishes out a red.
That is very early to be down to 10 men. And it's Liverpool's third red card of the season.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Curtis Jones could be in trouble here. Simon Hooper gave a yellow on the field but is being asked to have a look at the challenge on the monitor.
Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool
Ouch. Curtis Jones is a bit high here on Yves Bissouma. His foot is over the ball on Bissouma's ankle. Oh dear.
VAR are going to have a look at this, it's a nasty one...
