Marcus Forss comes close to putting Middlesbrough a goal to the good, but his shot loops off Josh Ruffels with Lee Nicholls seemingly set in quicksand, but the ball drops onto the roof of the net harmlessly.

So Blackburn have now potentially got a long afternoon ahead of them with 10 men.
Head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson makes an immediate change with Tyrhys Dolan sacrificed and Callum Brittan on in his place in a tactical switch.
Neat turn from Ozan Tufan in the box fashions another moment for Hull but his shot is well blocked.

Anthony Patterson has to be alert for Sunderland, coming out to claim an Ollie Rathbone delivery seeking out Jordan Hugill.
