    What an impact from the Palace substitutes - Eberechi Eze had a hand in the first two goals - skipping past four Argyle defenders before laying the ball off to fellow new face Ayew in the build up to the first goal before setting up Mateta for the second.

    Then Schlupp played in Mateta for the third for what looks like it will be a superb turnaround.

    With that unbeaten record on the line, Christian Saydee has equalised for Portsmouth at home to Peterborough, controlling on his chest before firing home to make it 1-1. Posh are also now down to 10 after Charlie O’Connell picked up a second booking.

    Cameron Humphreys has equalised for Ipswich at League One Reading deep into added time at the end of the first half, tapping in after some fine work from Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson.

    That game kicked-off 15 minutes later than the others in the section and Przemyslaw Płacheta has already put Norwich 1-0 ahead early in the second period against Bristol City at Ashton Gate, spinning superbly and firing into the corner.

    Elsewhere Portsmouth’s club-record 18 match unbeaten run dating back to March remains under threat as Peterborough still lead 1-0 at Fratton Park early in the second half.

    League Two Sutton remain 1-0 up at Wycombe of League One while Cardiff lead by the same score at Birmingham, still unbeaten this season. Exeter are also a goal to the good against League One rivals Stevenage.

    We've not long hit half-time in the 20:00 BST match between Salford and Leeds and it's the League Two side who have the lead through Matt Smith's header. If they can hold on to that they'll be in the third round of this competition for the first time in their history.

    Into the second half of the 19:45 BST games and Leicester have taken the lead at League Two Tranmere. Nigeria international midfielder Wilfred Ndidi with the goal for the Championship leaders.
