Palace look stunned after that effort, which curled around Sam Johnstone just 33 seconds after the restart.

Argyle have not made the third round of this competition since 2007 - this could be their best chance since then.

    Plymouth 1-0 Crystal Palace

    Brent Pilnick

An excellent first half for Plymouth Argyle as they go in with a deserved 1-0 lead against Crystal Palace.

Tyreik Wright has been the star so far on the right of Argyle’s attack – his cross set up the opening goal and he has given Tyrick Mitchell a tough evening.

Palace’s best effort came when Jean-Philippe Mateta just failed to get on the end of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi’s low cross 12 minutes from the break.
