That's such a shame as that was almost the perfect half of football from the Irish.

What a sucker punch right at the end of the half, especially when all the stoppages were caused by treatment for Canadian players.

It was Sinead Farrelly's shot and Kadeisha Buchanan's block and the Canada defender needs treatment. It hit her arms but in front of her body so that's not a handball.

I'm just sitting here holding my breath and I'm thinking Buchanan is so lucky. If Carusa goes down there, Buchanan is off. She is hustling her and got wrong side. If I'm Ireland, I'm playing on Buchanan, like they are doing now.

An umbrella has blown onto the pitch at the Irish end of the goal there's a huge cheer as a steward runs on to remove it.

Thankfully without slipping as it's lashing again.

That's probably the loudest cheer since McCabe's opener.

The shot isn't on here at all but Canada's Ashley Lawrence still has a go and volleys over from long range.

Brilliant play from Ireland. Winning the first ball and then if they don't win the first ball, they're winning the second ball. Canada don't like it when Ireland are physical so they are going to have to match that.
