Australia 1-0 Denmark
Sam Kerr appears on the big screen and that prompts a huge roar from the Australia fans.
Will she get some game time today?
Australia 1-0 Denmark
Just the three minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Australia 1-0 Denmark
Australia have dropped deep but are keeping their shape. Denmark have the ball but are struggling to cause any danger with it.
Australia 1-0 Denmark
Just a few minutes to go until the break and Australia are taking few risks now on the ball. They won't want to make any mistakes to gift Denmark the chance to get level before half time.

You do feel that there is so much pressure on Pernille Harder to create something for Denmark, a moment of brilliance or an opportunity for a teammate.
They do have some good technical players but they get into promising positions and nothing seems to come of it.
Australia 1-0 Denmark
As Pernille Harder's influence has waned, Caitlin Foord's has increased and she is popping up everywhere.
Here she is now, charging past a defender on the left but she has to turn back to a team-mate and the promising move falls away.
Australia 1-0 Denmark
Caitlin Foord continues to be a menace to the Denmark defence whenever she gets the ball. She tries her luck with a curling effort that takes a deflection to loop wide. Should be a corner but goal kick is given.

Huge burst of celebration in the Melbourne fan park as Australia take the lead. Someone even lit a flare.
Interesting mix of fans here - both the families and the groups of young lads, side by side. Making for a good atmosphere as the hosts lead.
Australia 1-0 Denmark
Denmark have picked up from where they were before that goal for Australia. They have pushed the hosts back and had a couple of set pieces, but they've come to nothing.

I can barely hear myself type as the crowd noise in the Olympic Stadium is deafening as Caitlin Foord puts Australia 1-0 up.
What a cool finish as she slots home through the keeper's legs.

Australia 1-0 Denmark
Just what the hosts needed but Denmark will be kicking themselves. They had been in control and looked the most likely to take the lead before one mistake sent Australia on their way.

Brilliant from Australia.
They haven't made many chances in this opening half hour but when the opportunity comes they take it.
Nice little turn from Fowler in the centre circle, sees where Foord is and and picks her out with a lovely pass.
Then it's about if Foord can finish. Well she does, slots the ball calmly through the keeper's legs.
Caitlin Foord
Fantastic counter!
The roof lifts at Stadium Australia as Rikke Sevecke plays a poor cross for Denmark and Australia break quickly.
Mary Fowler spots the run of Caitlin Foord and plays a superb pass to set her team-mate away and Foord keeps her cool before slotting through the legs of the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

A poor touch from Raso which meant she was always stretching for the ball, definite foul.
She's started to come inside in the last few minutes in search for the ball.
Australia 0-0 Denmark
Hayley Raso then gets into the box for the hosts but her first touch is heavy and her second is to commit a foul.
A better spell for Australia though after doing a lot of defending.
Australia 0-0 Denmark
The noise rises from the stands as Australia embark on an attack for the first time in a while.
The ball is played into the corner, trying to find Caitlin Foord, but Rikke Sevecke shepherds it well before winning a free kick as Foord desperately scrambles to win possession.
Australia 0-0 Denmark
Lovely play down the flank as Rikke Madsen flicks the ball on for Katrine Veje, who wins Denmark the game's first corner.
The set piece is played to the near post and almost creeps in before Australia scramble away.
Australia 0-0 Denmark
Kathrine Kuhl's pass hits the referee to halt a Denmark attack. To be fair, it didn't look like the pass was going anywhere but play is stopped and possession given back to the Danes.
