Mayling has been done again down that Villa right hand side, Turner's header is weak and drops centrally, and it falls perfectly to the feet of Höbinger.

We've hardly seen the likes of Jordan Nobbs, Lucy Staniforth and Lucy Parker on the ball for Villa.

Liverpool have done so well to bypass the midfield and attack down the flanks, it has kept those midfield creators out of the game.

Matt Beard will be really pleased with how Liverpool have started this game.

They've got a lot of joy down this left hand side, Villa's right defensive channel, and are looking dangerous.

Also out of possession they are so organised. Once Villa do get on the ball, which has been rare so far, Liverpool drop to a back five, which makes it so difficult for them to be broken down.

Their goal has been under siege in the opening stages of this game.

Aston Villa conceded 12 goals from crosses last season, only Reading (14) conceded more.

No wonder it is an area that Matt Beard's side are targeting.
