FT: Everton 0-5 Man Utd
Manchester United
More from Man Utd boss Marc Skinner speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "It was nice to score first and get the clean sheet. This season we have been chasing every game. Last year we were frightening, we would score early and the game would be done, and the lull would come in the second half.
"You can imagine the emotion in the group, we've gone out of Europe in midweek against a big team in a big arena and we played really well. Our performance in every game, albeit in shorter periods in the bigger games has been very good, our expected goals is very high, but we have to finish them off. That is the game.
On the passing of Sir Bobby Charlton: "A special dedication to Sir Bobby Charlton, Lady Norma and the family. We have dedicated every goal, every inch run today to the memory of a great player and man that changed football."
FT: Everton 0-5 Man Utd
Manchester United
Man Utd boss Marc Skinner speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I think it was a deserved win. Everton and the way Brian [Sorensen] wants to play, you know it is going to be difficult, they want to have possession. So you have to be ready to pick them off on the counter. Everton are very good at playing that style, but we felt as that when we did get the ball we could hurt them.
"We had one day turnaround for this game, with everyone on the pitch. We've had sickness in the camp, Leah [Galton], Geyse and Hayley [Ladd] were missing today, as well as some members of staff.
"To come out and put a performance in like that, I would echo the word professional, but we were also devastating at times. We've had a lot of football in the last 22 days, but I think could have scored more - that was back to a Man Utd performance, back to what we do best.
On taking chances in a tight game: "If I'm being honest against Villa we should have put more away, against Arsenal we weren't at our very best and they took the draw. Then against Leicester we have got to be more ruthless and we win that game easily.
"I asked the players before the game to be more ruthless in both boxes. We have good build up but if you then get to the final third and don't take the chance, what's the point? If they have a chance and we don't get the block in, what's the point? The girls were magnificent in both areas today."
FT: Everton 0-5 Man Utd
Manchester United
Man Utd captain Katie Zelem speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We've had a few tough games and a few tough results in the past week or two, so we wanted to come here today and put it right.
"In the first half I think we played some really good football. It was just about finishing our chances. That is something we spoke about at half time and you could see in the second half it was free flowing. We were making chances and finishing them."
On sharing the goals around the team: "That has always been a trait of Manchester United, everyone chipping in with the goals. I think it shows the impact we have in our team when you have subs coming on and scoring two goals.
"We've obviously lacked numbers on the bench today with a sickness bug. So that win was for them too."
On closing the gap to title opponents: "For sure it was important to close the gap. The competitiveness of the WSL being how it is you can barely drop points. Last year we lost two and drew two, and we finished second.
"You have got to be aware that every team in this league is going to put up competition, and you've got to pick up points where you can."
On the passing of Sir Bobby Charlton: "Very sad news. You could see by all the heartfelt posts that people have put out, how many hearts he really did touch, and for us he's a club legend, and we came into the game with that in our mind, and dedicate that (performance/result) to him.
"You want to walk in the footsteps of the people who have achieved so much greatness at the club you are playing for. He was definitely one of those people."
Manchester United were 5-0 winners against Everton earlier today.
Here's some post-match reaction from captain Katie Zelem and manager Marc Skinner.
