Finally something for Norwich keeper Angus Gunn to do.

Zian Flemming shoots from just over 25 yards out, but it's a daisy cutter of an effort which is a simple one to field for Gunn.

What looked like a promising opening for Millwall passes in a flash.

Danny McNamara runs at the Norwich defence and has a bit of space on the edge of the box but turns down a shot with his weaker left foot.

His attempted pass is cut out and then midfielder Billy Mitchell strikes from all of 35 yards.

It's very ambitious for a player who rarely scores. And it goes miles over the bar.

Just under 10 minutes to the break and Millwall are yet to have an attempt on goal.

For all Norwich's possession and passing, Gary Rowett's Lions are still in the game while it's 1-0.

But the visitors need to find a spark from soemwhere.

The Canaries look so comfortable on the ball and are zipping passes around.

Gabriel Sara is pulling all the strings in midfield.

Suddenly Millwall come alive and win the ball back, but they can't create a meaningful opening at the moment.

Lions danger men Zian Flemming and Romain Esse have barely had the ball, and striker Kevin Nisbet has not even had a sniff of it.

    Norwich 1-0 Millwall

Norwich are enjoying themselves at the moment.

Some neat interplay on the right sets Jack Stacey up for a cross, but it's a bit too high for a team-mate and too close to Matija Sarkic.

The Canaries are working themselves into some promising positions.

They come again down the right and another Stacey cross is inches away from getting to Ashley Barnes before George Saville cuts it out.

What response do Millwall have now?

The visitors have barely threatened Angus Gunn's goal.

The Lions have fallen behind in three successive games. They got nothing from the previous two.

    Absolutely brilliant.

What a wonderful goal, Norwich have had to be patient, there's 25 miniutes on the clock but they deserve the lead.

Jonathan Rowe - four goals, what a start to the season that kid is having.

The hosts break the deadlock with a stunning goal.

The build-up play is exquisite, first down the left flank as Jonathan Rowe cuts in and finds Gabriel Sara.

He moves the ball forward to Ashley Barnes, who holds it up well and turns it round the corner back to Rowe.

The winger takes a fine touch, then opens up his body and curls the ball across goal into the right-hand corner.

Rowe has now scored in all four of Norwich's games this season. What a start to the campaign!

Millwall winger Romain Esse draws the ire of the home fans for a trip on left-back Dimitris Giannoulis.

The teenager was dispossessed by a fine tackle by the Greek defender, and then had a kick out at him as Giannoulis pulled out a trick of his own to whisk the ball away from Esse.

No booking, just a word from the ref.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Gabriel Sara takes on the free-kick and looks to bend it around the wall and into the bottom-right corner.

Millwall keeper Matija Sarkic is equal to it, diving to his right to push the ball away.

The Canaries try a corner to the near post but Kenny McLean is shut down and can't hit the target.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Norwich win a free-kick just outside the Millwall area after a powerful run forward from Kenny McLean.

I'm not sure if it's for a nibble on the midfielder or an off-the ball block.

Either way it's in a great position for a shot on goal. It favours the left-footer...

The pattern of the game seems set at the moment.

Millwall are sitting back compactly in a block and trying to mount counter-attacks when they get the ball.

But Norwich are hanging onto it fairly well at the moment and not giving the visitors too many opportunities on the ball.

Norwich are trying to do the right thing, lovely one-touch football but it's just execution out to the wide players so far.

    It's really positive.
