    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Millwall forward Duncan Watmore picks the pocket of Jack Stacey and starts off towards the Norwich box.

He doesn't have much support - but doesn't look up for Kevin Nisbet either - and is muscled off the ball by Gabriel Sara just inside the area.

No claims for a penalty from the visitors there.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Free-kick from Gabriel Sara into the Millwall box and it looks a straightforward one for Matija Sarkic to deal with on the edge of his six-yard box.

But the keeper goes to punch and doesn't get a clean connection. It goes out for a throw-in on the far side.

Millwall have yet to assert themselves in this game.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Norwich have settled well and are pinging it around nicely at the moment as they look to dominate the ball and dictate the game.

Jack Stacey clips a ball into the box from the right and it runs through to Ashley Barnes just to the left of the penalty spot.

But the former Brighton and Burnley striker completely miscues his volley as he stretches back for the ball behind it. Straight off the shin.

Norwich build the ball forward with a good spell of passing play.

The Canaries ping the ball in to Josh Sargent some 25 yards from goal and the USA international fires off a low strike.

It goes narrowly wide of the left-hand upright and clatters off the supporting pole behind the goal.

That one had Millwall keeper Matija Sarkic worried.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Straight up the other end as Jon Rowe wins a corner with a bit of trickery in the box after a dangerous cross from Gabriel Sara.

Sara's outswinger from the left doesn't drop for Shane Duffy and the ball goes behind for a goal kick.

    Norwich 0-0 Millwall

Millwall look to cause an early bit of trouble in the Norwich area with a long through into the Canaries box from Zian Flemming.

However, the hosts deal with it as first Kenny McLean wins a throw-in and then Danny McNamara clatters into the back of Jon Rowe to give Norwich a free-kick.

Gary Rowett saw Millwall miss out on the Championship play-offs in agonising fashion in May

Millwall fell out of the play-off places on the final day of last season following a madcap 4-3 defeat by Blackburn at The Den – a match the Lions had led 3-1 at the break.

Boss Gary Rowett has said he wants his players to use that as “motivation” to achieve a top-six finish this season, and saw his side clinch a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough on the opening day.

Things have not gone to plan since, with a 4-0 defeat by League One Reading in the League Cup followed by a late home loss against Bristol City last Saturday.

Carrow Road is far from the best place for Millwall to get back on track – the south-east London club have not won at Norwich in 22 trips in all competition stretching back 55 years to a triumph in the old Second Division.

David Wagner took charge of Norwich in early January and at one stage it looked like they might make a meaningful bid for the play-offs.

However, just one win in their final 11 matches of last season meant the Canaries finished in mid-table.

After a summer which saw striker Teemu Pukki depart, the Norfolk club have made an unbeaten start to the new campaign.

They’ve certainly shown battling qualities, with all four of their points in the Championship this season coming from losing positions.
