    "Over the last 10 or 15 years this club has been so successful, they've won so many Premier Leagues, FA Cups, Carabao Cups. We've been waiting for this. To add another one to the collection. This is what I came here to do.

    "It was so hot and humid. They made it hard for us, fair play, they're a good team.

    "Getting the break at half-time, getting some words from the manager was important. We changed a few things. A good night all round."

    On Cole Palmer: "That's what you have to do as a young lad. I was in that position at Villa. You have to perform when given the chance and he's done that. He's such a nice kid, I'm so happy for him.

    On Cole Palmer: "This guy is incredible and he’s got good players to learn off and the best manager in the world. He needs to keep going, keep his feet on the floor like he has been and keep scoring goals. If he keeps improving he’ll be fine.
