Coventry, who have drawn their last two games, welcome a Watford side who have lost their last two games. The Sky Blues are unbeaten in their past four home league games against Watford.

Ipswich lost for the first time this season last weekend in a 4-3 thriller against Leeds, after their previously perfect start to the campaign. They'll be looking to get back to winning ways when they host a Cardiff side who in turn picked up their first three points of the season last Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday.

QPR make the trip to winless Middlesbrough. QPR have won three of their past four league visits to Boro, although they lost 3-1 at the Riverside last season.

Blackburn make the long trip down south to take on a Plymouth side looking to avoid a hat-trick of league defeats. Rovers have started steady, picking up seven points from their first four games. Here's one for you, Blackburn are looking for their first league win at Plymouth since the final game of their 1991-92 second-tier campaign under Kenny Dalglish, when the Pilgrims were managed by Peter Shilton.

Preston have started the season very well, winning their past three games. They travel to Stoke, who lost to Millwall in their last outing. Alex Neil's Potters side have so far won two and lost two.

Huddersfield are another side with a winless start to their campaign. The Terriers, who have lost three and drawn one, face a West Brom side on the back of a 4-2 win against Middlesbrough. The Baggies are looking for consecutive league wins over Huddersfield for the first time since 1998.

    Rotherham v Norwich (15:00 BST)

Rotherham, who are still looking for their first win of the season, welcome unbeaten Norwich this afternoon.

Not a fixture Millers fans would have chosen today, you'd imagine, particularly losing their last two games.

It really is a story of two ends if we delve into this one...

Rotherham have won one of their past 17 league games against Norwich, with the Canaries winning their last three league visits to the New York Stadium.

Norwich are the top scorers in the Championship this season with 13 goals - the most goals they’ve ever scored in their opening five league matches in a campaign is 16.

Leeds v Sheff Wed (15:00 BST)

    Djed SpenceImage source, Rex Features

There can be few bosses in world football as happy to see the transfer window close as Leeds gaffer Daniel Farke.

It's been a hectic summer off the field at Elland Road and, despite the late night loss of star winger Luis Sinisterra to Bournemouth yesterday, the German will be pretty happy with what he has got to work with until January.

New signings Djed Spence, Jaidon Antony and Glen Kamara are all on the bench for the home side.

Visiting Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wedneday are almost certainly not feeling quite as buoyant.

They're the only team in the whole of the EFL yet to pick up a point so far this campaign.

New boss Xisco Munoz knows that will have to change sooner rather than later if he's to stick around at Hillsborough, but this looks like a tough ask today.

  12. Can Foxes make it five in a row?published at 14:36 British Summer Time 2 September 2023

Leicester v Hull City (15:00 BST)

    Harry WinksImage source, Getty Images

August is out, September is in and only two teams in the top four divisions have won all their league games so far.

Manchester City are three from three in the Premier League and Leicester City have won all four in the Championship.

Former City coach Enzo Maresca has made a dream start to life on Filbert Way and will look to continue that today.

The Foxes give a full debut to on-loan Galatasaray forward Yunus Akgun.

Visitors Hull have also made a decent start to the new campaign, with seven points from their first four.

They include Aaron Connolly in place of Ozan Tufan, who has a knock.

Sunderland could easily have taken their foot of the accelerator this second half.

But they have continued to press Southampton this whole time.

This will be a massive wake-up call for the Saints boss Russell Martin.
