Southampton haven't had one clear chance in the second half.

It's not just been counter-attacks and luck for Sunderland.

They've played good football and scored some really nice goals.

Sunderland are just happy to let Southampton trundle toward their penalty area with the ball now.

The Saints players pass it around but can't find a way through and the Black Cats just nick the ball back and say 'thank you very much' and take possession.

Sunderland look really good on the counter.

Their players have so much space to work with they just seem to effortlessly glide between Southampton defenders.

Southampton have had a couple of really good chances in the last five minutes.

Defender Mason Holgate, on loan from Everton and making his debut, had a free header at the back post but he missed it wide.

Minutes later, a Ryan Fraser cross lands for Sekou Mara on the edge of the six-yard box and he stretches for a header but sends it over the bar.

I didn't see who it was, apologies, but a Southampton player had a nice shot on goal and it was fumbled by Patterson in the six-yard-box.

The ball squirted to the side and toward the post, but luckily for him, wide.
