    Chris Sutton
Former Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's not cut and dried for Man City, could say the game is on a knife edge.

Brighton, the way they play, you would think that they will create another couple of opportunities. They will just go for it.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

Frustration for Manchester City. Substitute Jack Grealish picks up a needless yellow card for berating the linesman for awarding Brighton a throw-in deep in City's half.

  7. goal

GOAL - Brentford 3-0 Burnleypublished at 87 mins

    Saman Ghoddos

Stunning strike! Brentford end their winning run in style as Yoane Wissa's cross is headed out to substitute Saman Ghoddos who, head down, smashes the ball from the edge of the area into the top corner.

It's his first goal for over two years but boy was it worth the wait!

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

Anthony Gordon's been electric down that left hand side. He’s left an impact on this game. He usually just creates the goals, and doesn't score, so glad to see him get a goal today.

  12. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

We're a bit early for pantomime season, but it's like an end-of-the-pier variety show in Bournemouth whenever Hwang Hee-chan gets the ball, as he is cheered by the Wolves faithful and booed by the home fans for his part in the build-up to Lewis Cook's red card - though when they watch Match of the Day tonight, the Cherries will have few complaints at the sending-off.

Andoni Iraola is playing his last cards - bringing on Marcos Senesi and Kieffer Moore for Milos Kerkez and Dominic Solanke.

  13. Postpublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

    Man City 2-1 Brighton

Ten minutes plus stoppages remaining. This game is on a knife-edge. City looked to be cruising but Brighton have come back strongly in the second half. Will they force an equaliser?

  14. Postpublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves

Oh my word. Wolves almost score a goal that Brazil's 1970 World-Cup winning side would be proud of.

A couple of tricks and flicks gets the visitors out of a tight area down the left but Pedro Neto lifts the ball over the bar from 10 yards out when it is zipped across the Cherries penalty area.

    Chiedozie Ogbene (83 mins)

Brighton equal the record for a team scoring AND conceding in the most consecutive games from the beginning of a Premier League campaign: nine by Middlesbrough (2000-01) and Leicester City (2015-16). The Foxes went on to win the title in 2015-16.

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:41 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

    Newcastle 4-0 Crystal Palace

A chance for Newcastle to add a fifth as Miguel Almiron is sent scampering towards goal. He has a defender in close attention and that perhaps is enough to put him off his shot, which is straight at Sam Johnstone.

  20. Postpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 21 October 2023

Brighton's previous two games ended 2-2. Will they make it three in a row? Manchester City have sent on Jack Grealish and Ruben Dias.
