Couple of goals at the top of League One.

Josh Scowen has put Wycombe ahead at Portsmouth, who began the night top of the league. And Oxford United, who started second, lead Shrewsbury through Mark Harris.

Cheltenham hoped their goalless and winless start to the season may take a turn for the better with new manager Darrell Clarke in charge tonight for the first time, but they trail to Junior Quitirna's goal for Fleetwood.

Jamie Reid has Stevenage level at Bolton, while James Scott has put Exeter in front away to Charlton and Bristol Rovers lead Port Vale through Luke McCormick.

    John Swift (13 mins)

Bottom club Sheffield Wednesday fall behind to John Swift's fifth goal of the season.

Darnell Furlong plays the ball down the right-hand channel and Jed Wallace skips beyond Akin Famewo and into the Owls box.

Wallace gets to the byline and cuts it back for Swfit, who nets with a controlled first-time finish.

The Baggies are looking for back-to-back wins and it could be another defeat for winless Wednesday.

Way too easy for Koji Miyoshi who doubles Birmingham's lead.

He gets on the end of a simple ball that flashes across the six-yard-box and taps it into the back of the Huddersfield net.

Nothing the keeper Lee Nicholls could do about that one.

    League One update

Barnsley are looking to bounce back from defeat on Saturday and have scored early through Nicky Cadden at Cambridge.

One of Cadden's old clubs, Northampton, also lead. As we've just heard from an excited Charles, Sam Hoskins has scored against lowly Reading at Sixfields.

Joe Pigott has also put Leyton Orient 1-0 up at home to Lincoln.

And a Dion Charles penalty has Bolton a goal up on Stevenage.

The top two in the table, Portsmouth and Oxford United, are both at home and both deadlocked, against Shrewsbury and Wycombe respectively.

    Stoke 0-0 Southampton

We're off at the bet365 Stadium.

Both Stoke and Southampton claimed much needed wins at the weekend after a recent poor run of form.

The Potters don’t have a terrific home record and Saints don’t have a terrific away record so far this season.

So this one is literally a toss-up.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Xisco Munoz guided Watford to promotion to the Premier League in 2020-21, but finds himself at the opposite end of the table with the Owls

Sheffield Wednesday have had a torrid time wince winning promotion from League One last season, with manager Darren Moore leaving Hillsborough over the summer and now Dejphon Chansiri saying he will stop funding the club.

New boss Xisco Munoz is still waiting for his first win following two draws and seven defeats in the Championship.

The Owls have failed to score in four of their past five, and are aiming to avoid a third straight defeat.

Lose tonight, and Munoz will surely be on the brink of the sack.

The Spaniard has responded with no fewer than seven changes from the side which lost 3-0 at home against Sunderland on Friday. Keeper Devis Vasquez, defenders Di’Shon Bernard and Akin Famewo and forward Anthony Musaba retain their places.

Hosts West Bromwich Albion won 4-0 at Preston on Saturday to end the Lilywhites' unbeaten start and go four unbeaten - albeit after three successive draws.

But, after one defeat in eight outings, Carlos Corberan's Baggies could move into the play-off places with victory tonight.

Ipswich hit the front with a fine strike from Wes Burns.

Leif Davis switches the play to find the forward in space on the right hand side just outside the box.

Burns takes a touch to settle himself and blasts a low strike from 18 yards which arrows into the bottom left-hand corner.

The Tractor Boys keep up their scoring record at Portman Road, and the Tigers will need to come from behind to get anything tonight.
