    Hibernian 0-1 Livingston

Not far away from a carbon copy Livi second.

James Penrice is causing real problems down the left-hand side and drills another ball across the face. This time, Scott Pittman can't make contact with the ball, but does with David Marshall's face.

Sare yin for the Hibs number one. He's getting a look over from the medical team.

    Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnock

Motherwell have had their best chance of the match.

Callum Slattery worked it to Blair Spittal and at close range, he could only find the chest of Will Dennis.

That was the best attacking play from the hosts so far.

    James Penrice and Lucas Digne.

The Hibs fans must be sick of marauding left-backs. Only one of them has 46 caps for France, mind.

  6. GOOD SAVE!published at 15:31 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Celtic 0-0 St Johnstone

    Celtic should be ahead.

A swift counter-attack and Matt O'Riley is in the clear 12 yards out.

However, the midfielder's low strike is well blocked by goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov.

    Jane Lewis

Killie are one up thanks to a Marley Watkins header, but is there more to it?

I'm told ever since their opening day win over Rangers that the club have become quite superstitious.

Manager Derek McInnes has worn the same suit every match, and for the last three games the players have decided to stick with their traditional home kit.

Not sure if they passed any magpies on their way to Lanarkshire today...

    Celtic 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone have rarely been out of their own half, but they win a free-kick in a dangerous position that allows Graham Carey to whip in a low cross to the front post.

Luke Jephcott manages to get a touch on the ball, but the striker is well marked and he can only turn it a few feet wide.

    Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock are threatening again as Kyle Magennis links well with David Watson, who curls in an inviting cross.

Kyle Vassell throws himself at it, but heads wide. It's looking more like a Killie second than a Well leveller.

  11. Obita's own goalpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Hibernian 0-1 Livingston

On review of the Livingston opener, it's going to have to go down as an own goal for Jordan Obita.

The Hibs man was desperately trying to deny Scott Pittman at the back stick, but he's turned it past his own keeper with the final touch.

Rough start for the home side and manager Lee Johnson.

    Celtic 0-0 St Johnstone

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

No goals but there's an increasing expectation that Celtic will get there sooner than later.

They're hemming St Johnstone in just looking for that little gap to exploit.

The visitors to their credit are showing real organisation considering the number of new faces.

Christian Doidge goes into the book after flinging himself to the ground under pressure from Livi goalkeeper Shamal George.

The ref wasn't buying the fall and quickly shows the striker a yellow.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Celtic 0-0 St Johnstone

Celtic are knocking on the door and Yang Hyun-jun, who has been prominent on the left wing, sets up David Turnbull.

When the midfielder's shot is deflected wide for a corner, Matt O'Riley has a first-time effort superbly blocked by Dimitar Mitov and the goalkeeper rises also to turn it over the crossbar.

    Celtic 0-0 St Johnstone

It's been a quiet start at Celtic Park, but the hosts burst to life.

Returning right-back Alistair Johnston makes an immediate impact with a fine low cross.

It's met by Kyogo 15 yards out, but the Japan striker's first-time effort is just wide of the near post.

GOAL! Motherwell 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Marley Watkins

    Absolutely deserved.

Matty Kennedy's corner comes back to him, he dinks it to the back-post and Marley Watkins gets a free run to launch his head at it. Dan Casey was the man on the back-post, but Watkins just barged him out the way - he wanted it more.

  18. 'Terrible for Hibs'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Hibernian 0-1 Livingston

    Michael Stewart
Former Hibernian midfielder on BBC Sportsound

It's a terrible start for Hibs.

It's been one-way traffic so far. Livi have been pushing.

If Hibs don't get a result, pressure will continue to build.

  19. goal

GOAL! Hibernian 0-1 Livingstonpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

    Scott Pittman

    Oh wow...

Sweeping move from the visitors cuts Hibs open. James Penrice is released down the left and his fizzed ball across the face is turned in by a combination of Scott Pitman and the scrambling Jordan Obita.

    Can the hosts respond?

Livi looking slightly stronger in what's been a scrappy game so far at Easter Road.

A couple of set-pieces swung into the box but the Hibs rearguard stand tall.
