We were just talking about raising the tempo and then Saka and Martinelli link up really well again.

It's a really lovely finish from Saka, very composed.

This is fascinating. The 10 men have everyone back behind the ball but the hosts are struggling to carve out an opening until Denis Vavro has a pop from distance.

Sevilla are just keeping the ball for a few minutes. Arsenal have sat back into an organised shape and the home fans are chanting.

A much slower tempo at the start of the second half which will suit United after the frantic end to the first 45.

Gabriel Martinelli gets away on the left and chips it into the box but nobody has taken a risk to get into the six-yard area. It just bobbles away harmlessly on the far side.

A brief chance for Sevilla. Adriá Pedrosa carries it down the left but his cross is intercepted.

Pedrosa managed to hold off challenges from Bukayo Saka and Ben White.

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves tells TNT Sports Marcus Rashford's challenge was "clumsy" and not a red card.

Paul: Utd have done absolutely zero wrong all game (bar Harry's ever so slightly wayward hand), but modern rules and officiating have ruined a perfectly good performance. Can't be right.

Kieran: 4 pens conceded in 4 group games for Utd but 3 of them very harsh. Rotten luck not helping poor form.

That first half was Manchester United's season summed up in 45 minutes.

Two goals for Rasmus Hojlund on his return to Copenhagen, a pitch invader, an injury to Jonny Evans, a red card for Marcus Rashford followed by two goals for the hosts including a penalty after a Harry Maguire handball.

And still another 45 minutes to come...

Steve: What are people watching? That tackle by Rashford was a proper ankle breaker, he steps across the space and brings his foot down aggressively. How the ref didn't give it when he was 3 yards away is more shocking.

Jack: People get too defensive over red cards. Yes, it was an accident by Rashford. Yes, he could have broken his leg. Yes, ultimately, that should be a red card, even if there was no intent. It may change games, but so do accidentally missed chances and inadvertently fumbled shots. As long as the rules are applied consistently, player protection should always be the priority.
