    Mohamed Elyounoussi

    Game on!

United are still trying to organise themselves after losing Marcus Rashford when the home side strike through former Southampton player Mohamed Elyounoussi following Diogo Gonçalves' cut-back.

Moments earlier, Bruno Fernandes had headed against his own bar.

Sevilla do need to have more about them, but if you look at the score line, they are still very much in this game.

    Arsenal 1-0 Sevilla

Gabriel Martinelli is given a hefty pass to chase down the left but he somehow manages to keep it in, flick it over the foot of full-back Juanlu and curl it into the box. It won't quite reach a team-mate.

  4. RED CARDpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2023

    FC Copenhagen 0-2 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford has been shown a straight red card!

Manchester United are down to 10 men and the England forward is not complaining.

He was trying to protect the ball but caught his opponent badly and is off.

Is Marcus Rashford about to be sent off?

A challenge on Elias Jelert which looks awful from one angle and the referee is going to the pitchside monitor to look at it.

Martinelli's final ball/decision making is absolutely abysmal. Never seen a player get into good positions and waste them this much in a single half of football. Wants to beat his man three times instead of getting the simple assist.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2023

    FC Copenhagen 0-2 Man Utd

United's lightning counter attack almost catches their opponents out again.

Once again it's Rasmus Hojlund leading the charge but he doesn't get a clean strike and the ball rolls wide of the post this time.

It was a brilliant recovery tackle from Saliba. I didn't think he'd get there. It would have been a clear foul but he just got a toe on the ball.

For all United's good work, Copenhagen have been awful. They've offered very little going forward and are being out-played in front of their own fans.

What a tackle from William Saliba!

He chases back and slides in to take the ball off Adriá Pedrosa, who somehow managed to squeeze through a gap in midfield and was away.

Crucial tackle. A first glimpse of Sevilla's attacking threat tonight.

Wonder what Rasmus Hojlund's younger brother Oscar is thinking? He's sat on the FC Copenhagen bench.

Big brother Rasmus has destroyed the home side this half.

He has five goals in four Champions League appearances, the quickest a Manchester United player has ever reached five goals for the club in the competition.

Bukayo Saka's free-kick is punched away by the goalkeeper and Arsenal have to defend inside their own half for a few rare minutes.

And another chance but Harry Maguire's header is dealt with by the keeper.

Five attempts on target, two goals. This is a performance that has been sadly lacking this season.

Kike Salas fouls... you guessed it, Bukayo Saka. Free-kick to Arsenal just outside the box on the right.

Real Madrid are advancing to the knockout stages for the 26th consecutive season as things stand.

They haven't been great against Braga so far but they've just grabbed the opener with Brahim Diaz blasting a Rodrygo cutback into the roof of the net.

    No Bellingham? No problem.

David Raya has his hands on the ball.

It's a routine catch from a long free-kick just inside Arsenal's half. The goalkeeper hasn't had anything else to do really.

  17. Postpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2023

    FC Copenhagen 0-2 Man Utd

    This is ridiculous!

United are all over their opponents and man-of-the-moment Rasmus Hojlund is denied a hat-trick after a fine save by Kamil Grabara.

What's happened to the old Manchester United?

That goal really is about that pass from Jorginho to unlock the Sevilla defence.

I just had a little chuckle to myself because of Martinelli going round Juanlu twice. He just doesn't want to go out to him.
