    Arsenal 1-0 Sevilla

Gabriel shoves Erik Lamela in the back but it's a very soft free-kick to concede.

Sevilla's free-kick doesn't beat Kai Havertz and they then break through Bukayo Saka.

He finds Havertz on the far side and his shot is deflected wide.

Nick the Gooner: Can't imagine anyone other than the most rose tinted spectacles wearing Man United fan will really complain about Rashford's red card. Sure, there's no intent and he is just trying to protect the ball. But he has very clearly caught the opponent half way up his lower leg. It's a red card every day of the week with a competent VAR.

Steven: The red card, I can see why but once again, another joke of a penalty decision. On what planet is that hand ball? How could he feasibly, realistically have avoided that? Having two different handball guidelines in two different competitions (PL and CL) shows how much neither organisation knows what to do with penalty decisions moving forward.

JDR: If the boot was on the other ankle, every United fan would be calling for a red card.

Anon: Say it quietly, but are United the new Spurs?

Steve: Why can Utd never protect a good lead they have?? So much for Maguire being back on form! They need to get back to basics, and soon!

Thomas: That is an absolutely shocking decision. No intent to hurt the player, who is fine. VAR once again ruining a match

Anon: What is Rashford meant to do in that situation? He’s not even looking at the player. So red cards for accidents?? Ludicrous.

George: Every foul in slow motion and replayed to the nth degree looks like a red card! Surely everything has to be replayed in real time?

    HT: PSV Eindhoven 1-0 Lens

Arsenal want Lens to win tonight as it means they would qualify with two games to spare if they hold on to victory over Sevilla.

But Lens are currently trailing 1-0 to PSV Eindhoven. It's half-time in that match.

Sam: There was absolutely no malicious intent from Rashford. Trying to shield the ball, accidently steps on an opponents foot. Moving forward will we see red every time a foot is trodden on?

Anon: Poor decision to send Rashford off - not even looking at the Copenhagen player, and he puts his foot under Rashford’s making it look worse in slow no. Why aren’t the refs forced to look at in incidents in full speed at least as many times they watch it in slow mo?!

Samuel: VAR is becoming too hyper analytical and my personal feeling is that it’s sucking the joy and emotion out of the game. Get rid of it and improve the standard or refereeing.

They are still debating Rashford's red card on TV. There did not appear to be intent but Rashford's foot caught his opponent badly.
