In actual fact, a one goal defeat would have still meant they were above RB Leipzig as if two sides are level on points, the determining factor is their head-to-head record.

City won 3-1 in Germany, so effectively we are now at 3-3. Away goals don't count.

Pep Guardiola's side really need not to concede again.
