We're seeing two very advanced left backs in this game. Emerson is belting forward at every opportunity.
At the other end, the home side are benefitting from a very advanced Rodinei. Wonder if his folks are fans of 'Only Fools and Horses'?

This is a belter. Huge chance for AZ Alkmaar to pull a goal back but Vangelis Pavlidis - their danger man - puts it over. An incredible miss for someone who is bang in form in front of goal.

Megs! Konstantinos Fortounis pokes the ball between James Ward-Prowse's legs in the box but he can't gather it afterwards as Alphonse Areola comes to claim.
West Ham are in a real contest here.

Daniel Podence remains the most lively Olympiakos player. He finds a yard to chip a cross to the far side of the box but Mohammed Kudus does some very neat defending to win the ball ahead of Mady Camara.

Gorgeous finish!

The hosts are arguing there was handball but the German referee has given it.
AZ Alkmaar 0-0 Aston Villa
This ground holds about 20,000 fans but it sounds like there's double that number with supporters making a right din. The decibel levels rise a notch when Dani de Wit stretches for a header which takes a deflection and goes out for a corner.
Olympiakos 0-0 West Ham
A nice West Ham move opens Olympiakos up but after Said Benrahma is found in the box his shot is poor and past the near post.
