    Olympiakos 2-0 West Ham

The Olympiakos fans are enjoying their night. They're putting on a little show with red and white cards, they're singing away. The flags are still waving behind one of the goals.

West Ham aren't offering much to change this scoreline.

    Ibrahim Sadiq

    It's raining goals in Alkmaar.

A lovely finish by Ibrahim Sadiq across the keeper gets the home fans out of their seats.

Was he offside? No, Matty Cash was playing him on.

Another AZ goal will make things interesting.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 26 October 2023

    Olympiakos 2-0 West Ham

West Ham have made changes but they need to make something happen fast here.

Lucas Paqueta, one of the players sent on to try and change things, sees yellow for a shove on an Olympiakos player.

Villa are at home to Luton in the Premier League on Sunday. Does Unai Emery make changes now or go for more goals with the players out on the pitch?

I officially happily retract my comment about the unconvincing line up from 18.30! Come on Villa!

    John McGinn

'Easy, easy' chant Villa's jubilant fans.

Leon Bailey has been outstanding all night and he is heavily involved again as he delivers the pass, after good work by Ollie Watkins, for John McGinn to slide in and finish.

Super stuff from the skipper. Super stuff from Villa.

    Olympiakos 2-0 West Ham

Wrst Ham get very, very lucky.

Tomas Soucek gives the ball away and Olympiakos are able to get in down the left through Daniel Podence. Thankfully, James Ward-Prowse is there to clear his poked ball into the middle.

  13. Team news - Chambers makes Reds debutpublished at 19:00 British Summer Time 26 October 2023

    Liverpool v Toulouse (20:00 BST)

Trent Alexander-Arnold captains Liverpool tonight with regular skipper Virgil van Dijk on the bench as Jurgen Klopp makes eight changes to the Reds side that beat Everton at the weekend.

Left-back Luke Chambers, 19, makes his first Liverpool start, while Cody Gakpo is named among the substitutes, shaking off a knee injury he picked up last month.

Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Chambers; Endo, Jones, Gravenberch; Elliott, Jota, Nunez.

Subs: Alisson, Jaros, Van Dijk, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Scanlon, McConnell, Quansah.

Liverpool's opponents Toulouse lifted the French Cup last season - their first major trophy - but have won just three of 11 matches this campaign.

They make one change from their 1-1 draw with Reims on Sunday as defender Moussa Diarra replaces midfeidler Cesar Gelabert who drops to the bench.

Toulouse XI: Restes, Diarra, Nicolaisen, Costa, Suazo, Desler; Casseres, Sierro, Schmidt; Dallinga, Donnum.

Subs: Dominguez, Lacombe, Genreau, Cesar, Kamanzi, Mawissa, Begraoui, Magri, Bangre, Keben.

A European away day masterclass by Villa!

And it's another for Ollie Watkins who taps home after sumptuous work by Leon Bailey who produces wonderful skill to get a shot away.

It's parried by the keeper into the path of Watkins who makes no mistake.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 26 October 2023

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:51 British Summer Time 26 October 2023

    Olympiakos 2-0 West Ham

Immediately better from West Ham, who work the ball forward well for Danny Ings to nick the ball past Panagiotis Retsos. The forward is caught and the Hammers have a free-kick. Retsos is booked.

  20. Postpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 26 October 2023

No changes yet from David Moyes.

You have to imagine it won't stay that way if the pattern of the game doesn't alter quickly in this half.
